File Description: This is the final version of my Outer Terrain textures. This version contains a complete set of 26 textures (25 land, 1 water) and includes water transition tiles for 13 of the 25 land textures. Adding water transitions for the other land textures would take forever so I picked 13 of the most likely and obvious candidates and ignored the remainder. The total number of base, variation and textures tiles is now 1131! The zip file contains: (1) A new GENTILES.TAG file. (2) The 26 base textures as TarGA image files. (3) A copy of the RULES.TXT file originally provided with the last beta release. (4) A tile transition spreadsheet (Excel and OpenOffice formats)

File Description: This is a wind sock replacement for SanFran and Seattle area, rebuild from the original but using mip maps so better colors are possible. This version is with red / white stripes and will move the same way than the original one.

Gelink Simulated GPS

File Description:
GELink provides simulated GPS functionality and optional moving map display to Flight Unlimited III (FU3) users. Moving map is based on Google Earth via a .kml interface.

Some configuration is required, users will need basic computing skills to install and run GELink.

UK_South placeholder texture

File Description: When you try to build the UK_South region for FU3 you will miss the blank water tile and there is a misplaced placeholder ground texture. This zip will correct this with a better ground from a painted map and the earler set of water tiles including the missed level 0 to 3 of them. Do not apply this zip to other region or to a full UK_South installation then this is just for a starter kit and will overwrite useful tiles when applied to other region or full installation of UK_South.

Outer Terrain Night Tiles

File Description:
This zipfile contains Looking Glass Studio's original night tile artwork (in TarGA format) for the Outer Terrain, as extracted from NITETILE.TAG.

New Outer Terrain Textures - Version 2

File Description:
A set of 26 textures for the Outer Terrain. This is a second 'beta' version of my new textures: transition and variation textures are provided for all 25 land textures, but water transitions are NOT yet included. Also included is a texture transition spreadsheet and artwork (as TarGA image files) for the 26 base textures.

Flightmodel of the First DC3-C47 v. 1.00

File Description:
This flight model is only for the DC3-C47 "gears only" version 1.10 from Ansgar Avermeyer!!! It changes back the physics to that of version 1.00 for pilots who like this more.

DC3 V1.20 Complete

File Description:
It's finally landed! Version 1.20 of Ansgar's beautiful DC3. Sorry folks but the small things take a little bit longer... This aircraft includes many bug fixes and other updates including new engine sounds and textures. Freeware - of course!

United Airlines Boeing 747-SP

File Description:
Here is the B747-SP in "United Airlines" livery for FUIII as Christmas Present. It is an special variant of my original B747-400 (Lufthansa) with shorter main body and less wingspan. This model is based on the B747-400 version V1.13 and therefore has all it's other functionalities and improvements.
