Gabby Gabreski's Razorback P-47D

File Description:
This skin represents "275510 HV-A", a P-47D-11 Razorback Thunderbolt flown by Lt Col Francis S Gabreski, Commanding Officer of the 61st Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group, based at Halesworth, England, February 1944. Gabby had 15 kills to his credit at this time. Gabreski was the top USAAF ace in the ETO, ending the war with 28 kills. Many thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-47D for Strike Fighters, and enhancing our SF WW2 experience, and thanks to Nick Tsepelidis for the profile. And of course AVSIM for hosting!

Israeli Desert Camo P-47D

File Description:
This skin represents "42", a P-47D Thunderbolt flown by Lt. Hurya B'Yessin, of the First Fighter Squadron, based at Ramat David, Israel 1948. Major Lee requested a desert P-47, the two tone brown has already been done, so here's my version of a desert camo. I have tried a new technique for applying panel lines and rivets, it took three times as long as they came out a little bit too big, but they show great detail! Many thanks to RussoUK2002 and Team for creating the P-47N for Strike Fighters, and enhancing our SF WW2 experience. And of course AVSIM for hosting!

MacDonald's P-38 Putt Putt Maru

File Description:
This skin is Lockheed P-38L Lightning "44-24843 - Putt Putt Maru" of Colonel Charles Henry "Mac" MacDonald, who was the third ranking ace in the Pacific Theater with 27 confirmed kills, based at Dulag, on the island of Leyte in the Phillipines, December 1944. MacDonald was the commander of the famous 475th Fighter Group. Thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-38, and making our SF WW2 experience special! And thanks to AVSIM for hosting!

Darling Dottie III P-47D Razorback

File Description:
This skin represents "222637" "38", a P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt flown by Lt William B Foulis, Jr.,(I think) of the 341st Fighter Squadron, 348th Fighter Group, based at Finschhafen, New Guinea December 1943. This skin has the unusual paint scheme of half olive drab and half bare metal. Many thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-47D for Strike Fighters, and enhancing our SF WW2 experience. Captain George S Welch P-38H Lightning

File Description:
This skin is the Lockheed P-38H Lightning of Captain George S Welch, of the 80th Fighter Squadron of the 8th Fighter Group, based at Port Moresby, New Guinea, September 1943. Welch scored a total of 16 victories (including 4 during the attack on Pearl Harbor) before he was sent home from New Guinea with an extreme case of malaria. Welch was also the first known pilot to exceed mach 1, flying a prototype F-86 Sabre, albeit in a dive. Thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-38, and for enhancing our SF WW2 experience. And much thanks go to AVSIM for hosting. I have included a new prop sound file for the loading screen, use it if you want. IMHO it adds to the immersion for your SF ww2 experience.

Faked Prop. Pilot

File Description:
This "faked" prop. pilot skin is just a repaint off the stock jet pilot. In order to have the prop. pilot and the stock pilots all seating in the aircrafts in the same mission I just borrowed an extra jet pilot model included in the add-on F-4J package. Thanks whoever did the extra pilot models!!

MiG-21MF No. 24 'Hawks' Sqdn Indian Air Force

this paint scheme depicts a MiG-21 of No. 24 "Hawks" Sqdn Indian Air Force . This skin is the repaint of the stock Soviet Silver MiG-21MF skin.Each aircraft will have its own serial number selectable in the loadout screen(C2310 to C2323). This skin will also work on those modded aircraft addons like MiG-21bis etc i.e those mods which are based on MiG-21MF. See readme for more.
