Charlotte-Rock Hill Airports Scenery v6.51+

File Description:
This package features new objects and scenery for KCLT (Charlotte Douglas International). I grew up in the Charlotte, Rock Hill areas and decided it would be fun to add these two airports to my custom scenery. Charlotte's airport is a combination of Ted Davis's suburb objects and scenry as well as a compilation of objects from many talented authors in X-Plane. The layouts for both airports are purely fictional as far as the scenry is concerned. No changes have been made to the existing aiports. You will find many additions such as more hangers, buildings, aircraft, terminals and enhancements to the citys and surrounding areas.

F8F Bearcat

File Description:
F8F for x-plane v6.7 - With its 2250 + HP engine it requires a lot of skill to just get this bird into the air. The F8F bearcat was the last propeller fighter aircraft made by grumman. Deployed very late in the war, the first squadron of bearcats were on their way to japan when WWII ended. Although they never saw service in WWI they were used in Korea. At least 24 US Navy squadrons flew the Bearcat, some until as late as 1952. With a maximum speed of 421 mph it was one of the fastest aircraft of WWII. Place the Weapons files in the Weapons folder.

File Description:
Version 3 - Corrects lines showing in water for some with replacement water textures. This AFCAD adds new Runway 1R/19L left out of FS9 by Microsoft. Runway 1/19, formerly 1R/19L, is a 3,500' X 75' gravel strip used as a ski strip in the colder months and is still shown off the northern end of 1R/19L. All airline gates are shown as close to their proper locations as the limitations of FS9 allows. Northern Air Cargo parking spots are shown at their proper locations. FedEx, DHL, and other cargo operations are shown at the cargo ramp at the north end of the field.

Runway 1/19, formerly 1R/19L, is a 3,500' X 75' gravel strip used as a ski strip in the colder months and is still shown off the northern end of New 1R/19L. All airline gates are shown as close to their proper locations as the limitations of FS9 allows. Northern Air Cargo parking spots are shown at their proper locations. FedEx, DHL, and other cargo operations are shown at the cargo ramp at the north end of the field. File includes the flatten and exclude bgl files necessary to add the new runway.

White Island Photoreal Scenery (2nd of 4 releases)

File Description:
This is the second of four photoreal scenery releases covering the main offshore islands in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This scenery was created from a scanned aerial photograph owned by Environment Bay of Plenty (The Bay of Plenty Regional Council). The imagery has been de-sampled for use in Flight Simulator X and utilizes the default terrain mesh. The textures are intended for summer daylight flying only, although due to the sparse nature of White Islands’ vegetation, the Islands appearance remains relatively consistent throughout the year. It includes Steam, autogen objects (including a library object which vaguely resembles the abandoned Sulphur works) and animated birds.

File Description:
FS2004 FlightLevel390 EZ-Object Library part2 Contains a mixture of 4 low polygon Fast Food Resturants with seperate signage.Dominos Pizza,Sonic,Waffle House & Pizza Hut. DXT3 day textures with night lighting.Optimized for good FPS. These objects can be used in your own freeware scenery enhancements and will also be needed for FL390's upcoming KBTRv2 Scenery release. A seperate 3rd part containing Inland River barges,and a few other goodies will follow this upload soon.Part 3 will also be needed for our KBTRv2 Scenery and Galveston Bay/Houston Ship Channel Water Scenery as part 3 will contain the barges and other objects that will be needed. Not tested in FS X.

Port Allen airport Scenery, Hawaii - PAK

File Description:
Aloha! - This is a fictitious rendition of the actual airport at Port Allen, Hawaii USA - PAK. Port Allen Airport is approx. one mile southwest of the town on Hanapepe on the south shore of Kauai. Virtual improvements have finally come to the beautiful garden paradise. Come see for yourself! Stay at the new virtual Hanapepe resort. I took a boring airport and added some "eye-candy" in order to have something nice to look at in addition to the spectacular ocean front properties. Designed with the FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder and the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool. This scenery is frame rate friendly.

9B1 - Marlboro Airport - Marlboro, MA

File Description:
By request, here is an improved version of the stock Marlboro Airport. I adjusted and added aprons,roads and taxiways to more closely match real life. I replaced most default buildings and added additional buildings. I also added several buildings in the area, such as barns, houses, apartment buildings, and gas station. I added static vehicles, aircraft, lightpoles, fences and other filler objects. This is one of those small, interesting airports that are scattered all over the country. There is a road at one end of the runway, and trees at the other. It can make for some challenging take-offs and landings. Works best with Ultimate Terrain X.

Botswana Airports - Update 2

File Description:
This pack contains updates, a few new airports and improvements for my previous airports package covering the whole of Botswana (botswana_airports.zip and botswana_airports_update_1.zip). It also contains other details, such as the handful of Radio Botswana and and the single Voice of America broadcast transmitters receivable by aircraft ADF radio, meaning that you can use them as NDBs, and more radio/TV/cell masts (now 170+ over Namibia and Botswana). You'll also find corrected CTAF frequencies for every uncontrolled airfield. Everything made with ADE X v1.5, and tested in FSX SP2. There is also a set of landclass updates, which provide some local tweaks to Aeroworx's excellent Southern Africa landclass.
