Textures for Lockheed R7V-1/C-121J by Team 1049 - Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Manfred Jahn, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne and Stefan Werner. Repainted by Manfred Meyer.
A working installation of the G and H Super Constellation packs (L1049H.ZIP, L1049GZIP and r7v-1.ZIP)is required, use the 1049vc_rf model for this textures!
This aircraft was built 1953 as a R7V-1 BuNo 131643 for US Navy (c/n 4144) and 1960 redesignated as C-121J. Serving whis the Point Mugu Missile Range it was known as the "Ole Blue from Point Mugu". 1974 withdrawn from use and stored at Davis Monthan, she was sold in May 1981 to William "Winky" Crawfords Northern Peninsula Fisheries Corp. and reg. N4247K for hauling salmon in Alaska. After modification work to civil freighter in 1987 the Connie went to World Fish & Agriculture Inc. Cold Bay Alaska, another Crawford Company. Now it was the plan to hauling thunafish from Palau Island to Nagoya in Japan. It was intend to carry 38 000 lbs of fish per trip but only 33 000 lbs were practial. But the contract could not be fullfiled because no high grade AVGAS was available at Nagoya. The aircraft has to carry return fuel in drums, which reduced the payload further to only 15 000 lbs.
Only a few roundtrips were flown in 1988 and then the Connie was impounted and stored at Manila apt. due to lawsuit actions with the contractors. She remains abandonded in open storage at Manila until 2014 as the Quantas Museum from Australia bought her in auction for spares.

Re-upload. Set of skins for the TWA December 2000 flightplans by Nick Botamer available on Avsim (search for twa__20dec00.zip). Can also be used for the TWE summer 2001 flightplans by James Hamelers, also available on Avsim (search for trans_world_express_summer_2001.zip).
Using the great AI model and paintkit by Craig Ritchie; paintkit enhancements by Tony Fosler. Model is not included, search for djc_ai_js41_update.zip for the model.
2010 Update: Fixed registration on DALX hybrid to correct N***** format (ignore the reg in the screenshot!).

Polar Air Cargo (Interim Livery) (formaly British World Cargo) 747-87U(F) N856GT
PMDG 747-400 is required. This is a livery for the expansion -8i/F. FSX only
Cargo aircraft don't receive the same treatment as their PAX counterparts. Some, like
N856GT, wear "hybrid" liveries as they are transfered from one airline to another. Polar
Air Cargo, bought the 747-8F (N856GT) and the rest of the British Airways World Cargo
747-8Fs last year and have taken off the markings and decals of the previous carrier.
These planes, however, never recieved the new livery and now are flying a interim liveries
for Polar Air Cargo, sometimes operating as Atlas Air Cargo.

| TACAN Replacements, Waypoints & Routes - UK Modern |

File Description:
By default, all of the TACAN navigational aids present within FSX have the bearing component turned off, so as to properly represent the real world result of tuning in the DME component of a TACAN with a civilian plane. However, this limits their functionality when you wish to use them in conjunction with a plane (generally military) equipped with a representation of a functioning TACAN system.
This download contains replacements for all of the currently active TACAN ground stations present in the UK, along with custom TACAN route waypoints as well as UK MIL AIP documentation and maps. These allows the user to fly the TACAN routes as per real world operations, as well as use TACAN approach charts.

In 1982 Australian businessman and aviation enthusiast Dick Smith opted to fly his new Bell Jetranger 206B III back to Australia from the Bell Helicopter plant at Fort Worth, Texas. Nobody had ever flown a rotary-winged aircraft solo across the Atlantic and nor had they flown solo around the world. Dick was to accomplish both feats in 1982/1983. This package represents Stage 1 of the round-the-world flight; from Fort Worth, across to the eastern seaboard of the USA, to New York, on into Canada, to Baffin Island, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland and finally London, England, where Dick had a three-week holiday with his family before commencing Stage 2 - London to Sydney.

You must fly FS2004 with FSNavigator installed. The two mast shown on the top of Mount Everest on one of the snapshots is non existence!!-.
You and your friends can enjoy these adventures, it's absolutely free, but don't try to make money out of it. Remember there has been spend lot's of hours making the Flights and the author have all the rights.

High Resolution Northeast New Jersey 5 Meter Mesh Terrain by Wally-Bob represents a significant improvement over FSX default 38 meter mesh terrain. The results are also dramatic compared to 10 meter compressed payware mesh as lossless compression compilation (read no data loss) is used. Lossless compiling produces renderings that have the Crispness of the Real World Terrain. Fly the Hudson River and view the Palisades as they are in real life, see the screen shots enclosed. I was flying around the FSX world looking for a real world sloping airstrip just begging to be modeled with a touchdown tire squealing, smoking rubber - that kind of hardened surface sloping runway after I finally figured out how to persuade the FSX SDK to compile one. The Airfield Candidate shall have high density LiDAR elevation and high resolution Orthoimagery data available for public download. I was flying a Beechcraft Baron 58 over Wanaque Reservoir in Northeast NJ of all places when I happened upon a photo scenery runway on a sloping hill top without the usual FSX flattened airport plateau effect and FSX textured runway. | Kodiak Sectional Chart Chunks Optimized For Moving Map Application |

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/lon geographic coordinate system for GPS, moving map application for flight simulation use.
These chart chunks were converted to the JPEG format for compatibility and size. Coverage is the full Sectional area North and South divided into JPEG tiles. They are about 3k x 3k pixels at 2.5mb with coverage of 90nm x 130nm per tile. Included is also the projection files and world files.
Note: This type of map is a equal grid and no further calibration is needed, only the two points referenced in the world file. Example: for users of FSM Moving Map, just mass import, done.
