Folder contains textures for Aerosoft's AirbusX Extended and have been adapted from my original AirbusX paints for use in this new version .
This is my rendition of PH-AAY in Amsterdam Airlines paintscheme .Repaint made using the paintkit supplied by Aerosoft . For anyone still using the original AirbusX , I have added the VC textures and texture.cfg for this too.
All AirbusX Extended repaints under my name were previously released on the Aerosoft site in 2010 ( with the exception of the < striped > Air Jamaica paints) .

For FSX users; You may have to UNCHECK "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX
to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!
Texture quality; 32Bit with alpha. FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.

Afriqiyah Airways is a state-owned airline based in Tripoli, Libya. Before the Libyan civil war of 2011 it operated domestic services between Tripoli and Benghazi, and international scheduled services to over 25 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East; since the end of the war, it has been rebuilding its business. In mid-October 2010, Afriqiyah Airways and Libyan Airlines (Libya's other state flag carrier) were expected to merge into one airline, and, although postponed, the merger is still planned.
