YBIU Ballidu, Western Australia |
![]() |
File Description:
YBIU Ballidu is a town located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 217 kilometres (135 mi) north of Perth. The townsite was gazetted in 1914, with street names of the original settlers. A primary school opened in the town on 4 September 1922, moving into permanent premises in 1924. Ballidu has a population of less than 100 people and consists of Ballidu Primary School, the local Art Gallery, a hall, a few shops for groceries and essentials and several farming supply stores. As Ballidu is a farming region, over the years (as the size of the surrounding farms has increased), the town has become smaller and smaller.
This airfield is run by Dunn Aviation and mainly home for their Air Tractor and Dromadaire fleet. (I have created a low poly version beacuse its my first aircraft model). It has a windsock and hangar but little else.

Read Installation instructions carefully, this is a complex scenery package!
This package includes a "Dev Kit" should you wish to expand it to other areas! Please contact me if you wish to do so! This is community effort! If we all contribute, we will hopefully have the entire world covered one day!
Welcome to OSM World: Western Europe! This is a vector data scenery package covering the western European area. Coastlines, Rivers, lakes, roads, railways, and power lines with detail never before seen! All in an autogen-compatible density! You can see roundabouts, train terminals, harbor areas in a resolution of a point every 10 meters. At this same resolution a vectorial city class places residential (in small and big building variations, depending on surface area) and industrial areas exactly where they are supposed to be. This gives the city areas a resolution far superior to the capacity of FS-2004 default landclass bitmaps, limited to approximately 1 Km x 1 Km squares. OSM World: Western Europe will even give you small roads leading to small towns (even a few houses across)! From big highway intersections, including ramps, to the tiniest rural pathways covering the entire western area! Wherever in Western Europe you fly, there is something to see!

YKAL Kalumburu, Western Australia |
![]() |
File Description:
YKAL The Kalumburu township is located in the far northern Kimberley and is a modern aboriginal community. This community was originally established at Pago and known as the Drysdale River Mission but was relocated to the present site in 1927 and renamed Kalumburu in 1951.
Kalumburu (postcode 6740) and Kalumburu Community (formerly Drysdale River Mission) are both bounded localities within the Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley Western Australia. Kalumburu Community is the northernmost settlement in Western Australia. According to the 2006 census, it has a population of 413 people and is inhabited mostly by Aboriginal people from the Wunambal and Kwini language groups. Kalumburu Community is remote from any main roads ¢ the nearest is the Gibb River Road, 270 km to the south via the Kalumburu Road. It was the site of a World War II airbase, which was attacked by Japanese planes in 1943. The airstrip is used by the RFDS as the nearest hospital is 568km by road in the dry. YKNP Kununoppin, Western Australia |
![]() |
File Description:
YKNP Kununoppin was a bare military airstrip during WW2 and is now maintained in a shortened form by the shire of Trayning. Located between Trayning and Nungarin. Kununoppin, is nestled in a salmon gum woodland. The Shire of Trayning is located 235 kilometres north east of Perth in the Central Wheatbelt, with the main industry cropping of wheat and cereals, and sheep farming for meat and wool. The Shire is made up of three towns, Kununoppin, Trayning and Yelbeni with a combined population of approximately 420 residents. I've tinted the scenery to suit the seasons but unfortunately, in winter you will still get a harvest so let's pretend we are hay cutting! REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

YNUL Nullagine, Western Australia |
![]() |
File Description:
YNUL Nullagine - Shire of East Pilbara with added ORBX textures. Nullagine is serviced by a gravel airstrip. This facility provides a vital air link. RFDS, Police, and local charter operators all rely on this airstrip for the provision of vital services to the communities. Nullagine is an old goldrush town in Western Australia's Pilbara region. It is located on the Nullagine River 296 km south-east of Port Hedland and 1,364 km north-north-east of Perth on the old Great Northern Highway. The town originated from gold being discovered in the area in 1886 by a prospector, N.W. Cooke. The population increased sharply as a result and by the mid 1890s the community wanted to have a town declared. Lots were surveyed and released in 1897 and the state government gazetted the town in 1899. Nullagine comes from the Aboriginal name of a nearby river, the Ngullagine river; the meaning of the word is unknown. Besides gold other minerals were mined in the area including diamonds and other gemstones. Between 1895 and 1914 the town boomed and contained a number of general stores, three hotels, eight stamp mills and a population of over 3,000. Its population was 1,500 prior to World War II. Now, with the decline of gold mining, only about 200 remain. However the town still attracts fossickers and prospectors who visit the surrounding area, which is particularly rich in minerals such as agate, asbestos, antimony, beryl, chalcedony, copper, jade, jasper, manganese, tiger eye and wolfram. The town is also the place of the Yirrangadji Aboriginal Community. The Martu people make up the bulk of this population. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip
