Gmax Poly Count Summary

File Description:
Several gmax source files were downloaded from the public domain and the data contained in the "Summary Information " has been tabulated into an Excel97 workbook. If you are, or are going to become, a gmax designer, this data will provide an insight into how many polygons are used for various features. Depending on the application, it will range from over a 1000 for a single tire on a highly detailed aircraft, to about 1500 for an entire aircraft intended for AI use only. The workbook is macro free and presents no danger to your computer. You do need Excel to view the data.

Upset Recovery

File Description:
Upset in FS2004! Can you recover from an upset? Your instructor tells you to close your eyes and he then places the aircraft in an unusual attitude and then tells you to open your eyes and recover. I have used the Cessna 182, placed it in an unusual attitude four times, paused each flight, and then saved it. When you load it, the flight will be paused and all you need do is press the "P" key and recover. Try not to overspeed, overstress, or splash in the water. I have also included a very short video of my "recovery" from a graveyard spiral. This package is only for mature pilots who can fly with instruments. "Spot view" pilots may find this too much of a challenge.

P-51 Post WW2 Skin Pack

File Description:
This skin pack includes 3 little known Post WW2 Mustang skins. The first is a AURI ( Indonesian AF ) used by Mercenary pilots ( CIA ) in COIN Ops in 1958. The second reflects the same a/c in regular AURI insignia. And the third was used by the PLAAF captured P-51D/Ks in the 1949-55 time period. All are based on Volksjager's OzStang skin, which is used with his permission.

Also included is a list of weaponsdata entries for versions of Western weapons currently in the Sim that were used by Indian aircraft. Aircraft included in this Mod Pack: Type 74 Revised, Type 76, Type 77, Type 95, Type 96, and the new MiG-21 BISON.
