File Description:
Only for FS2004. ILS-Correction for Yangon's intl. airport "Mingaladon" in Myanmar. With the default settings of MS, you will land outside the runway right. With this correction, you will land precisely after it on the center line. IFR-Flights are now referred to the runway 21 directly. The park-area was also modified. Now, also big airplanes, how 747 or 777, after the landing can request and progress taxi to the Gates. The place before the middle building is exclusive reserved for the government, that right from it for international and that left from it for domestic flights (seen from the runway). Instruction in english and deutsch. For FS2002 please download ilsVYYYafcad_2k2.zip. Made in Switzerland

Yangon International Airport "MINGALADON" in Burma, Myanmar, will be able to accommodate bigger aircrafts and handle more passengers when work on extending its runway and upgrading its facilities is completed. The completion of the runway extension will enable Boeing 747 and Airbus 380 airplanes to use the airport. The work on extending the runway from 8100 feet to 11,200 feet began October 2004. FPS-friendly version 3.0 with already extended runway, taxiways and new taxisigns. First of all we corrected the airport location to the real one. With Myanmar Air Force area, Helipads and even more parkings for civilian airplanes. This scenery was produced based on pictures of satellites. The completion of the runway extension will enable Boeing 747 and Airbus 380 airplanes to use the airport. The work on extending the runway from 8100 feet to 11,200 feet began October 2004. The length of the two-storey building will be increased from 340 feet to 800 feet, its width from 140 feet to 200 feet. This scenery buildings and parking areas maybe are different from the real one, but the runway is exact 11228 feet long. The ILS-Correction is already contained here. Re-upload

File Description:
Myanmar Airways International took off in August 1993, the result of a joint venture between Myanma Airways and Singapore interests with the support of Royal Brunei Airlines. In October 1998 that original joint venture was terminated with Myanma Airways taking total ownership. Subsequently in January 2001 a new joint venture was formed and a new aircraft livery was rolled out. Operating from Yangon (VYYY) to Kuala Lumpur (WMKK) and Bangkok (VTBS) using their single MD-82, Myanmar Airways International also participate in a number of code share agreements, most notably being their flights to Singapore (WSSS) operated by Jetstar Asia. As FS9 does not include VTBS by default, if you have not installed an AFCAD or scenery for this new airport install the alternate flightplan set included instead.
