This V.748D (C/N 101) was built for CAA as VP-YND and first flew on Thursday, 14 June 1956. It was the first Viscount to visit Vnukovo, Moscow, USSR on 29 June 1956 and was sent to collect the British Industry delegation who had attended the Soviet Aviation day celebrations. R M A Mweru was passed on to Air Rhodesia when CAA was disolved in 1965. It was shot down by a 'Strella' heat seeking surface to air (SAM) missile after take off from Kariba, Rhodesia 12 February 1979. File Description:
FS2004 Mil MI-24V Hind E. Deadly looking, and just as lethal, the Mil MI-24 series of Helicopter Gunships are perfect Cold War images of the Soviet concept of a "Flying APC" armed with AT missiles, Rockets and Cannon, and capable of transporting 8 Troops in its cabin. Caused much concern in the West, where there was no counterpart, and given the NATO code-name "Hind" MI-24's were first built with conventional flightdeck-type cabin,as the MI-24A, then redesigned with the stepped, armored cockpits for pilot and weapons systems operator (wso), as the MI-24D. Later improvements resulted in the V, VP, P, and Recon versions. Was, and still, in service with over 20 nations.

FS2002 Val-U-Prop Beech Baron Update
This will fix the problem of a few gauges not showing, such as the rpm gauges. This was due to me using FSD Twin Prop enhancer and I was unaware that it created it's own gauges,
identical to the originals, on the baron. This will fix the problem and works with either V1 or V2 of the VP Baron. I'm very sorry for this and hope this sets everything back to the way I intended it to be for you. As always easy installation instructions included. This is a repaint of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM Passenger DC-3 in a specially commissioned livery for the 2010 DC-3 World Rally, organised by the team at DC-3 Airways VA. Visit www.dc3airways.com for information about this exciting event commencing October 2, 2010. Thereafter, you can keep this lovely lady as a souvenir of how well you flew! Requires a base install of the FS2004/2002 R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations at www.maam.org. Can be used in FSX with the upgrade files available from the same site. This livery is also available for the default FS2004 DC-3 as wr10_fs9.zip, and for the default FSX aircraft as wr10_fsx.zip. File Description:
Wenela got its name from the Witwatersrand Native Labour Association, which provided laborers for the South African mining industry. They were formed in 1952 with Africair as the operating company using DC-3's. Wenela was based and maintained its aircraft at Francistown and stopped operating in 1978. 42-72273 (c/n 10378/DC109). Bought TF-ISE from Icelandair on 22 March 1958 and registered as ZS-CJA. Reregistered March 1961 to Wenela Rhodesia as VP-YSS. Reregistered October 1968 to Wenela Botswana as A2-ZES. Sold to Agence et Messageries Aeriennes du Zaire (AMAZ) on 17 May 1977 registered as 9Q-CAN. Textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 model (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Andre Reimers.

File Description:
A texture set for Manfred Jahn's C-47 showing c/n 25928 in Rhodesian Air Services colours registration VP-YUU. The aircraft was delivered to the USAF as 43-48667 in 1943. In 1944 she was transfered to the RAF as KJ897. From 1951 she was registered as G-AMKE and was operated first by Field's and then BEA. From 1961 to 1962 she was leased to South Pacific Airlines of NZ. In 1962 she was bought by Rhodesian Air Services and later sold to Central African Airways, eventually becoming 9J-RDR when transfered to Zambia Airways after the break up of CAA. The front section of her fuselage was preserved as a "Dak in the wall" pub at Phoebus Apollo Aviation in Johannesburg.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 N88756 in the colors of Transocean Airlines it wore between 1952 and 1957.
N88756 had c/n 10397 and was built with USAAF number 42-72292. It became Bua 50849 with the USNavy. It flew with Alaska Airlines and Guest Aerovias Mexico before coming to Transocean in 1952. It 1957 she was sold to Thai Airways, before going to Africa in 1962, where she flew in Rhodesia and Botswana, before flying in the Biafra Airlift as VP-YTY with Air Trans Africa. She was destroyed on June 28 1969 at Uli, Biafra during the airlift.
A repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

These are flightplans for Val-U-Prop's Baron Shuttle. This zip includes 4 flights. KJFK to KMIA and the return, which is also the inagural flight! And KLAX to KSFO and the return. Fly the celebrities, which are some very interesting characters, see readme for brief details, to and from their destinations. All flights are VOR to VOR, IFR, ATC flightplans but can be flown just VOR to VOR or GPS, or anyway you like. Includes real-world weather and easy install instructions! Made by myself to go along with my Val-U-Prop baron ( which is required. see val-u-prop_baron_shuttle.zip ) and the Val-U-Prop VA. All 4 flights start you at the gate in a cold dark aircraft. Enjoy!
