TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-4 Dragons - Patrol Squadron Four (VP-4) is a U.S. Navy land-based patrol squadron based at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oahu, Hawaii, which is tasked to undertake maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare (ASW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. All P-3 Orion Squadrons are due to have the P-3 Orions replaced by 2019 with the the P-8A Poseidons. Budget cuts not withstanding. File Description:
This texture set of Affretair's VP-VTY is for the Calclassic DC-7C and requires the original aircraft by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. Aircraft c/n 837 was originally delivered to KLM in 1957 as PH-DSI and converted to a freighter in 1962. Aer Turas Teoranta operated the aircraft as EI-ATV until 1969 when it was purchased by Affretair and based in Gabon as TR-LNZ. In 1979 it was leased to the Rhodesian Air Force and returned to Affretair in 1980 as VP-VTY and based at FVHA. Million Air bought the aircraft in 1985 as N103LM. Its final registration was N869TA of Trans Air Link.

TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-47. Patrol Squadron FOUR SEVEN (VP-47), also known as "The Golden Swordsmen", is a maritime patrol squadron of the United States Navy based at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, attached to Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Two. The squadron currently flies the P-3C Orion, and is scheduled to transition to the P-8A Poseidon within the next few years. This is not fictional but instead my rendering of what it may look like. Subject to change. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

This is a repaint of KBT's excellent P-3c Orion. It represents VP-4 "Skinny Dragons" out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Textures only, you must have FS_KBT's P-3c Orion for them to work. You can find the plane here in the AVSIM Library.

FS2004 US Navy Lockheed VP-3A Orion. Textures for Team FS KBT's Lockheed/Kawasaki P3-C,in the colours of the Naval Research Laboratory in the actual livery (2003), operated from NAS Patuxent River . Textures only, Requires p-3c_.zip. Textures in DXT3 format with no mips.
