Firefighting in the French Alps

File Description:
A forestfire near Aix-Les-Bains, in the middle of a mountain region in France. Starting at Chambery airport (LFLB),you'll see the fire climbing up the hills, about 10 miles north. Several lakes around permitting comfortable tankfilling. In addition, I've made some propeller smoke files, as well as an improved spray effect file, which makes waterlandings more spectacular.

1934 - Brisfit to Baghdad

File Description:
The idea for this real-life Flight came from the pages of the October 2007 edition of "Aeroplane Monthly', a magazine which has been the source of inspiration for a couple of Flights that I've created. In this one, two university undergraduates - one the pilot, the other a friend who wanted to go to Iraq to see his parents - fly an old Bristol Fighter from England to Baghdad via France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria and then return via Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Italy and France. The 'Brisfit' they bought for 100 pounds. Built in 1918, it had been declared surplus by the Air ministry in 1924 and was registered G-ABYE. The journey began on August 10th. 1934 and they returned on September 17th. ReadMe included with the simple installation instructions.

Aerospatiale Concorde - Tribute Video

File Description:
It was with sadness that many of us said goodbye to Concorde on her final passenger flight in 2003. This video is a Flightsim tribute to her and the BA/Air France airline crews that flew her over the years. It was my original intention to include footage of the Air France Concorde in this video, but due to my final choice of music, it didn't seem appropriate, so I apologise to our French flightsim colleagues ! If you liked the CS707 video, you will love this one. It is a large, high-res file, but, frankly, anything less wouldn't do! The video captures all phases of flight, including real ATC footage recorded from the final Concorde flight with a farewell message from Mike Bannister. Recording, courtesy of Tony Smith. LFMA - Aix les Milles

File Description:
Welcome to Aix Les Milles Airport. Situated in the south coast of France, only few miles North East of Marignane (Marseille Provence - LFML). This is a great option for all G.A aircrafts to visit as well as Helicopters/Medical with their own base and it's even large enough to welcome the famous Alphajets from the "Patrouille de France".:) The airport is used by those who wants to spend a great week end in the very well known city called Aix En provence and discover the beauty of Provence. I have enhanced the entire airport with all buildings, proper taxi marking of aprons, taxisigns, Glider area/parking lot, Heli area including the medical one, replaced the tower at its own place, a military parking for the Alpha jets (Novembre West apron) and added...the LFMA VFR chart!!! Enjoy!

File Description: This repaint is for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire MkIIa. Representing P7665 of 65 Squadron, "East India Squadron", Tangmere, West Sussex, February 1941. Flown by Pilot Officer Geoffrey Hill, who was shot down and captured near St. Omer France. After escaping from Stalag Luft 111 three times, he was sent to Colditz prison where he remained until released in May 1945.

LFDF Sainte Foy la Grande

File Description:
A lovely little airfield in the Dordogne in south-west France. It has a single grass runway (10/28) and supports clubs and schools for both gliders and GA aircraft. There's a fine restaurant adjacent to the airfield housed in a building of very distinctive design. Modelled accurately and in great detail, 'just like being there'. Designed for X-Plane 11.
