CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5 (Bu08450) NZ4012 XX-N 'The Naughty Nine" of the RNZAF, as it looked while flying with FltLt Guy Rogers and crew from the Solomon Islands in 1945 with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-N arrived in Fiji on 20 june 1943. It was declared surplus to requirements in 1951, and was broken up in Hobsonville in 1952.

Swiss is the flag carrier airline of Switzerland operating scheduled services in Europe and to North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Its main hub is Zurich Airport. The airline was formed after the 2002 bankruptcy of Swissair, Switzerland's former flag carrier.
Swiss International Airlines livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214(WL) model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more.

On February 18, 1944 it took off on a dumbo rescue mission to north Buka Island and landed to rescue two crew members and pick up a dead body from the crash of B-25, and successfully returned them to Halavo. On 26 May 1945, it stalled on landing at Hobsonville and was towed to its mooring by a crash boat. The induced damage resulted in the aircraft being written off charge on 18 June 1945.

| Piaggio P-149D FS-X DX9 Edition |

File Description:
This is a re-edition of the Piaggio P-149D with FS-X retail\SP1\2\Accel DX9 compatibility (DX10 users need to convert textures). The original model for FS-2004 is MN_P149D.zip + P149_FIX.zip available on AVSIM & www.mariopilot.6x.to. P_149_fix.zip is already included in this FS-X update.
The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat cpacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe as a training aircraft, that oredred 75 examples in 1955. Later in 1957 another 190 were manufactured under licence by Focke-Wulf. The D version is the one employed by Luftwaffe, while later some few P-149CH variants were used by Swissair as flying schools, and a few P-149U variants, with a new tailplane section to allow more rotation clearance on takeoff were used by Ouganda's Air Force. The P-149 Has a seating capacity of 4 with some examples being certified for 5 (both cases including pilot) and it's fully aerobatic, having G-limits set at +7\-4.5. After training activities ceased with Luftwaffe, several are still flying under civilian operators. This gMAX model features completely 3-D virtual cocpkit and cabin with advanced night lighting and custom special effects, plus a sound package recorded from the real thing. Simulates all systems onboard the real aircraft, coming with panel instructions. Flight Dynamics are built using only real data based on the 1% spreadsheet plus lots of manual tweaking for fine tuning. Read Notes before flying please... Enjoy!

The VC-25A is a modified Boeing 747-200F used as a dignitary transport by the Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base (KADF), Maryland. There are two twin sister aircraft with tail numbers 28000 and 29000. Both are used by the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) and as a dignitary transport for high level personnel for special missions. When carrying the President, the call-sign is “Air Force Oneâ€, but otherwise uses a variety of call-signs when the President is not on-board. Each sister aircraft is nearly identical to the other, with all of the same accommodations. One can fly as a “Mask†when the President is on-board the other.
The aircraft is modified with many secret aspects, and is heavier at Empty Weight than a normal 747-200F because of this. However, she normally only carries 102 souls on board with enough supplies to last for any long range flight, so she operates at a lower weight than the normal 747-200F. Due to the fortifications employed within the design, her MTOW is lower, as well. The engines are a bit more powerful than normal, and have better fuel efficiency. She has specialized equipment on-board for communications, a weather/recon radar dome (not shown in this paint scheme), and missile/aircraft countermeasures if needed. The interior is almost silent due to the high pressure cabin structure and fortified frame, including bullet-proof windows.
With all of the above, she is still the most powerful, efficient, and the fastest 747 ever built.
