VFR Silk Route

File Description:
The historic (1st century BC up to the 15th century) Silk Routes followed several different (northern and southern) tracks, mainly between Istanbul, Turkey and Xi'An, China, the centre of the Chinese silk industry. The 46 VFR flight plans link the centre of the European silk industry, Lyon, France, to Xi'An, and back via a different route. Such historic routes deserve to be flown with a classic plane: the FS 2004 default Lockheed Vega! Download and install Winfried Orthmann's chinaairports_version_2.zip. In fact, a large part of the flight plans cannot be executed without his scenery.

VFR Giro d'Italia

File Description:
On May 7, 2005, the 22 days / 3,500 kilometres cycling tour Giro d'Italia will start in Reggio Calabria, in the most southern part of Italy. The 20 VFR flight plans, for the default Cessna 152, follow this tour to a large extent.

LTBA Surroundings VFR

File Description:
LTBA Istanbul Ataturk Airport surroundings VFR scenery for FSX. Realistic houses and trees placement, highway traffic around the airport, landclass improvements and photoreal texture components, around the Ataturk airport. For the working of this scenery you need the Marmara east coasts scenery "istanbul.zip", also available here. Skynet Airlines (Ireland) resumed the abandoned Aeroflot flights to Moscow from Shannon. The Airline utilise 2 Boeing 737-400's, which also operate charter services (included) at the weekend from Shannon to Alicante, Dubrovnik, Split and Verona.

Baldonnel - Casement, Ireland (EIME)

File Description:
Baldonnel in Ireland is a dead airport in FS. I made a few changes, increased the Apron Space, added gates and also changed the taxiways and extended the runways... The result is now I have added Military AC130s, but as traffic is quiet at EIME I turned the airport into a FEDEX Hub!

Shannon Ireland, EINN v3

File Description:
Shannon Ireland, Aeroflot hub in Europe, home to Shannon Aero Space and the last stop before you cross the Atlantic. I have added a few new taxi-ways, more gates, extended the apron and added a control tower view. Also added a taxi-way to runway 6 and Apron around the hangers and buildings beside 3-1. This way you can bring and cargo flights or AI to that section of the airport keeping gates free for commerical flights.
