| Drift Meter Version 2 |

File Description:
This gauge, for FS2004, updates the drift meter gauge, published on 19 Jan. 2005. It is easier to use, comes with a panel icon, and has improved graphics. It simulates the drift meters used in the 1940's, measuring the drift of an aircraft off its heading due to the wind. In the old days of aviation, navigators had quite a job in windy weather. An advantage of the drift meter is that it has nothing to do with wind direction or aircraft heading. The measured wind drift is used to correct the aircraft heading to maintain course.

File Description:
Virgin Nigeria is Nigeria's private sector flag carrier and is 100% privately owned by the Nigerian Government and Virgin Atlantic. Their laucnh flight took off on the 28th June from Lagos to London Heathrow and they haven't looked back since, seving Abuja, Accra and Port Harcourt all from their hub at Lagos. Now although they don't fly to Heathrow anymore, they do occupy Gatwick and are a welcome sight on my home turf. Their aim is to create the best airline, not just in Nigeria but in Africa and if Virgin Atlantic is anything to go by they'll do it!

File Description:
Textures only for the Gmax Bell 407 (Low skid) by Alan Devins and Rory Kelly. This is a repaint in the colors of Fields Air Charter, based on the novels by Dennis Powell. The 407 is owned and operated by Charlie Fields, of Fields Air Charter based out of Pacific City Oregon, (KPFC)
Zip file contains textures only, original model by Alan Devins and Rory Kelly required.
(note, the registration number will be a bit off because of the way the repaint kit works. I've gotten them as close as I could. Thanks for your patience.)

Models feature high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. c/n 04246. SAAF 105. 35 Squadron operated 9 De Havilland DH104 Mk.1 Doves from 1949 to 1965. Sold to Keegan Aviation as G-ASUV on 30 July 1964. Converted to Riley Dove. Withdrawn from use 10 September 1964. Exported to Nigeria as 5N-AGF on 17 March 1965 and used for mercy flights by Bristow Helicopters. Captured by Biafran Army on 18 July 1967 and subsequently used by Biafran Air Force. Ground-looped, hit a truck damaging a propeller and the right wing at Uli airstrip and declared a write-off. Sent to a school play ground at Uli Village, Nigeria.

File Description:
Air LA, like the name implies, started off in 1982 as one of many LA Basin commuters based out of LAX. Air LA operated a varied fleet, but had consolidated to all Metroliners by 1995 with LAX/PHX/LAS based operation serving Mexico and various cities in California and the US Southwest. Air LA absorbed St. Paul, MN based Capitol Airlines(1994 plans on Avsim as "Capitol_Airlines_1994.zip) at the start of 1995 and took over their STP-MDW/MKE routes, adding a new route between MDW and MKE. Air LA folded in September 1995. Includes a repaint for the DJC Metroliner III.

Belavia currently operates five Boeing 737-300s. This package updates and replaces my recent upload of the same subject, as the shadows layer was inadvertently turned off in that previous repaint. If you are already using my old file, simply overwrite the texture. This only affects the fsx version. To be used with the brand new FAIB Boeing 737-300 (logolight model) base package available separately. The enclosed textures are native fsx HD textures, that will ONLY show in fsx. If you are using fs9, please download instead the file faib_733bru_fs9.zip. Repaint by Philippe Tabatchnik.

File Description:
G-AKTH started life in 1945 as 45-4471,(military?) then off to The Netherlands as PH-UCR. Moved just up the road to Belgium wearing OO-ACL. Finally to Blighty as G-AKTH. Where she is kept busy. One AAIB to her name in which the pilot admitted he was looking elsewhere when he ran into a 'tall electrical power supply pole'! Which goes to show that even with 3500 hours under your belt, you are not infallible! :-)
Just remember what happens to naughty boys who haven't paid for their copy of A2A's Piper Cub. I'll say no more!
