| Standard Proposal for Addon Packaging and Information |

File Description:
Both, the number of addons to FS-2002 and the number of new addicts of this hobby is increasing dramatically. And with this number increasing, also the user's struggles to install these addons properly increase more and more. As the being the developer of FS Addon Manager, a new addon management software, I have got a sufficient insight in this problem. So I develop an open standard, which will make it easier for users to install addons manually. But more importantly it enables new great features in software products. And addon libraries may take advantage of the information provided, to better declare the available addons to their visitors.
In the name of all people sharing our beautiful hobby, I invite all addon developers and addon libraries to discuss and adhere to this standard proposal. The potential offered for the future by such a standard is really worth it and make the users enjoy their hobby much more than ever before.

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: TerraVue. This gauge contains a moving map display with a terrain elevation legend color-keyed to the FS9 map. The legend allows the elevation of terrain lying ahead of the aircraft to be taken into account. TerraVue can display the FS map in seven ranges from 4 NM to 160 NM. The Map mode also employs animation to show the proximity between the aircraft and ground in a graphical and digital display with indicators showing whether the distance is increasing or decreasing. The gauge can be switched to the Information mode which will display up to four individual pages of data that is created by you. These scrollable pages may contain checklists, airport diagrams, approach plates, strip charts, etc. Fully functional, free software to help quickly construct these pages is included along with an illustrated tutorial that demonstrates the simple copy/paste process that tailors these pages to include whatever data you wish. This folder contains a repaint for Piper Comanche by A2A, in the colours of G-ASCJ, (c/n 24-2368), a Comanche that was based in the UK between 1962 and 1986, when it was damaged in a wheels-up landing at Bournemouth, after engine failure during take-off.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-20C by Milton Shupe and his team. It shows Douglas Boston Mk.III AL 494 #28 "Speckled Hen" , of RAF 18 Sqn, 236 Wing, Western Desert Air Force. It crashed on take-off at Maison Blanche on 2-8-1943. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by William Ellis.

The excellent idea of using aircraft radius sizing now allows the correct airlines to park at the 4 different terminals. Even better, runway usage is now correct - one for take off, and one for landing. If you know how to use AFCAD you switch these around if you wish.
