Extremely detailed paint of a United Airlines livery in the gray scheme depicted around 2003 or so. Textures are nearly 100% hand-painted and feature careful attention to realism and contain specific details such as paint chips, realistic dirt, beautiful daylight effects, accurate placement of airline logos and colors, fuselage reflection onto the wings, custom night textures and many other details. These textures are for the amazing Project Airbus A319 model which is freeware. Model and effects are included for those who do not have this fantastic model.

The Airbus A320 family is a family of short- to medium-range, narrow body, commercial passenger jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320, and A321. The first member of the A320 family, the A320, was launched in March 1984, first flew on 22 February 1987, and was first delivered in 1988. The family was soon extended to include the A321 (first delivered 1994), the A319 (1996), and the A318 (2003). The A320 family pioneered the use of digital fly-by-wire flight control systems in commercial aircraft. Although there has been a continuous improvement process since introduction, currently the A320 Enhanced programme includes greater improvements. The Airbus A320 family has over 4,300 aircraft built and an additional 2,300 aircraft on order as of March 2010. According to Airbus, it ranked as the worlds fastest-selling jet airliner family according to records from 2005 to 2007, and as the best-selling single generation aircraft programme. The Boeing 247 was a trendsetter in the early 1930’s. It was the first airliner to have an all-metal, stressed-skin, low-drag airframe and a retractable landing gear. Even when the bigger and better DC-2 and DC-3 arrived, the 247’s continued to give excellent service over the next 20 years.

File Description:
Repaint of the Project Opensky 747SP PBR Model in United Airlines colors with bare metal. These are 32bit textures and for the PBR model for P3Dv4.5. Should work in P3Dv5 although I have not tested it. They will not display properly in FS2004, FSX or P3Dv1-3 as there is no alpha channel. The PBR model gives off enough reflection for realism. These are textures only. You must have the 747-SP PBR model in order to use these textures. Follow the README file for installation.
