Modern Smoke Jumpers - Parafoils

File Description:
Thought there might be some purists out there frowning at the previous round canopy. I have completely reworked the FX texture files to allow you to drop a number of yellow-clad smoke-jumpers in the traditional free-fall arch position from the DC-3, JU-52, DeHaviland Otter, and now the C-130. They now sport the modern parafoil chute rather than the older round canopy. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. RAF Atcham

File Description:
Royal Air Force Atcham or more simply RAF Atcham is a former Royal Air Force station located 5.0 miles (8.0 km) east of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, on the north eastern boundary of Attingham Park. Initially built for RAF Fighter Command, during the Second World War its primary use was by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) Eighth Air Force. It was mainly the home of the 495th Fighter Training Group, where pilots were trained to fly Republic P-47 Thunderbolts although a few also were trained to fly twin-engined Lockheed P-38 Lightnings for both Eighth and Ninth Air Force units. Atcham continued to see use as a training base until it was returned to the RAF in March 1945. Source:Wikipedia

Aerostar S700 'Spirit of Kai Tak'

File Description:
The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin aircraft. The "Spirit of Kai Tak" competed in and won the London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. This FS2000 & FS2002 only computer model performs similar to the real aircraft and also has a custom cockpit panel which I have designed (thanks to Harald Scheidl for the Yoke gauge, which I have modified for the Aerostar Yoke). I designed the panel using CFG Edit and the aircraft using Abacus FS Design Studio Pro and Aircraft Animator. There are many animated parts, including a steerable nose wheel, spoilers and it also has an illuminating landing light beam. Also included is a very good Piper 350 engine sound package (Author Unknown).

Val-U-Prop Update 2

File Description:
FS2002 Val-U-Prop Beech Baron Update This will fix the problem of a few gauges not showing, such as the rpm gauges. This was due to me using FSD Twin Prop enhancer and I was unaware that it created it's own gauges, identical to the originals, on the baron. This will fix the problem and works with either V1 or V2 of the VP Baron. I'm very sorry for this and hope this sets everything back to the way I intended it to be for you. As always easy installation instructions included. This will fix the problem on both versions of the panel. XP/2000 version and the normal version. Again I'm very sorry for this. Gloster Javelin - Royal Navy - Double Pack

File Description:
The world's first twin-engine delta-wing jet fighter, the Gloster Javelin was the RAF's only delta-wing jet fighter, and was the RAF's first missile-armed interceptor. Designed to shoot down incoming Soviet nuclear bombers at high-altitude in any weather, day or night. This is a purely fictional repaint pack, as the Royal Navy has never equipped their Fleet Air Arm with the Javelin. This pack contains two repaints, one with Falklands-era blue-with-white-belly paint, and the other has a more modern low visibility scheme. The registration number is borrowed from a Royal Navy Harrier. Textures only! Dreamtime - Aussie repaint for Long Island Classics - Christen Eagle II

File Description:
How does one combine Aboriginal thoughts with high tech flying? I apologise for any injustice - but I like this repaint. The Christen Eagle freeware model produced by the Long Island Classics team is fast becoming a cult flyer for the sheer fun factor. Thie paint is a fictional skin depicting an Eagle I have made up for use by my friends "Down Under". Thanks to the paintkit provided by the LIC team, this repaint also includes changed interiors, including the pilot! (It's me!). As an extra bonus, I have included a couple of lines to change the standard single smoke trail to a twin smoke trail - see the readme for details. You must have the LIC Christen Eagle model for this repaint.

Amelia Earhart's 1937 World Flight Commemorative

File Description:
Here is a set of FS2002 flights to commemorate Amelia Earhart's ill-fated 1937 World Flight. She and Navigator Fred Noonan disappeared on 2 July 1937 on their 2224 nm flight from Lae, New Guinea to Howland Island. They had already completed 19,000 nm. There are two options for flying these flights, a 29-leg version matching Earhart's with leg lengths up to 20 hours or a 107-leg version with an average leg length of one and a half hours. Best to fly this commemorative with the Lockheed Electra L10E, but can be flown by other twin-engine aircraft with less realism. Simple one-step installation. Extensive notes accompany the flight descriptions. Includes scenery for airports not available in FS2002.
