Tupolev Tu-95 Bear (Part 1). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military history, which still soldiers on as a formidable strategic bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The mighty Bear, with around 500 built, evolved from the Tu-114 airliner, and is arguably the fastest (and loudest) turboprop aircraft in history. A simple no-frills turboprop design combined with a heavy payload and ridiculous airborne endurance (20+ hours); and the Bear has established itself as the iconic Soviet/Russian symbol of strategic force projection, easily the counterpart to the American B-52 Stratofortress. An original 9-LOD model brings this historic beast to the flightsim world. This package contains the early "M" series Bears, to include Tu-95M, Tu-95MR, Tu-95RTs, Tu-95U, Tu-95V, and TU-116; with a total of 6 models and 33 repaints. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. Please read included documentation.

The Tupolev Tu-95 (Russian: Туполев Ту-95; NATO reporting name: "Bear") is a large, four-engine turboprop-powered strategic bomber and missile platform. First flown in 1952, the Tu-95 entered service with the Soviet Union in 1956 and is expected to serve the Russian Aerospace Forces until at least 2040.[1] A development of the bomber for maritime patrol is designated Tu-142, while a passenger airliner derivative was called Tu-114.
The aircraft has four Kuznetsov NK-12 engines with contra-rotating propellers. It is the only propeller-powered strategic bomber still in operational use today. The Tu-95 is one of the loudest military aircraft, particularly because the tips of the propeller blades move faster than the speed of sound.[2] Its distinctive swept-back wings are set at an angle of 35°. The Tu-95 is unique as a propeller-driven aircraft with swept wings that has been built in large numbers.

Tupolev Tu-126 Moss. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic Russian airborne early warning and electronic warfare aircraft; which was derived from the Tu-114 airliner. The Tu-126 was used in limited numbers, with only 12 built, but was an important support aircraft for the Soviet Union in the latter half of the cold war. The Tu-126 was used both as an early warning aircraft, and as a powerful stand-off jamming EW aircraft; and was the predecessor of the current-use Ilyushin A-50 Mainstay. This package conrtains three model variants and three repaints; the operational aircraft did not have any listed serials, but there are a few modifications across the twelve production aircraft. Samdim Design Bureau’s beautiful Tu-114 painted in 70’s livery with realistic weathering. A second repaint of the same ship in a “what-if-it-had-not-been-retired” fictional 90’s livery is also included. This is a major update of my previous 90’s paint job with realistic heavy weathering, fixed texture alignment, new markings and corrected registration. Congratulations to Samdim Design Bureau for this exceptional model!
