W88 Air Harbor - Greensboro NC

File Description:
I decided to make this modification to W88 (Air Harbor, Greensboro NC) simply because the stock airport was done completely wrong. The default version has way too much ramp area where there should be grass runway. According to Airnav ( http://www.airnav.com/airport/W88 ), the runway is 2460' x 65', composed of "asphalt/turf." MS put in a 20' wide asphalt strip, but put a huge ramp right next to it. I've done two things to the airport. First, I severly reduced the size of that ramp. Second, due to the limitations in FS, I simply added a 40' wide grass runway adjacent to the asphalt strip. This gives you the total width called for by Airnav's spec, and also gives two more starting points as a bonus! There's still more ramp than in real-life, but I just consider that "artistic license." :)

Smoke Colors

File Description:
The files in this archive are "repaints" of the default FS9 Smoke Effect. I had a similar package from FS2k2, but the effects did not quite work properly in FS9. Since I couldn't find what I wanted on any of the major d/l sites, I decided to do it myself! Check the readme - there's a little surprise tucked in there! ;)

File Description:
Here is part 4 of 5 of my B777 package. It is of Varig Brasil n/c. The model features 95% handpainted textures with only the engines photoreal. Textures are mixture of 32bit and DXT3 to optimise the fps. Model included.

File Description:

File Description:

Nagasaki (RJFU)

File Description:
The first time I came to this airport, I noticed that there was no connection between the two parts of Nagasaki Airport. So, I decided to get out my "virtual heavy equipment" and pave myself a new taxiway. There is now, with this file, a greatly extended Taxiway T2 that runs along the land bridge between the two sections.
