File Description:
This texture set of Affretair's VP-VTY is for the Calclassic DC-7C and requires the original aircraft by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. Aircraft c/n 837 was originally delivered to KLM in 1957 as PH-DSI and converted to a freighter in 1962. Aer Turas Teoranta operated the aircraft as EI-ATV until 1969 when it was purchased by Affretair and based in Gabon as TR-LNZ. In 1979 it was leased to the Rhodesian Air Force and returned to Affretair in 1980 as VP-VTY and based at FVHA. Million Air bought the aircraft in 1985 as N103LM. Its final registration was N869TA of Trans Air Link.

Convair T-29B (240-27) "Flying Classroom", tn 51-7906, cn 318, in Markings of U.S. Navy, Training Squadron 29 (VT-29), Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, 1966. Delivered to U.S. Air Force in 1953. Transferred to U.S. Navy on January 29, 1963. Withdrawn from use and stored at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona in April 1976. For preservation donated to Pima Country Air Museum on August 26, 1981 and placed on display. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFmilitary_basepack_010.ZIP. Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in military versions, e.g. the famous USAF T-29
"Flying Classroom" from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic
Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further military add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for a Convair CT-29A of USAF 7405th Support Sqdn in colors of 1965, t/n 0-91917. Panel and sound must be installed separately (see User Manual). Textures for Tom Gibson's Convair CV-440 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Convair CV-440 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com. These textures decipt 8P-RUM "Isle of Martinique" (c/n 488) of Air Calypso, Barbados. This is an ex Iberia aircraft (ex EC-APY), delivered 1959. Air Calypso bought it in 1972 and used it for day-tour and charter work throughout the Caribbean until 1975. Calypso had two further CV-440's with the nice registrations 8P-FUN and 8P-SUN. Air Calypso ceased operations in 1975 and the Convairs were stored and sold.

Textures for Tom Gibson's Convair CV-440 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Convair CV-440 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.
These textures decipt N440JM (c/n 434) of Mackey International Airlines. This is an ex Eastern Air Lines aircraft (ex N9316), delivered 1957. Mackey bought it in 1970 and used it on his extensive network connecting Florida with the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands and Haiti until 1980. In the late years of the operation the titles changed from Mackey International Airlines to Mackey International Air Commuter. This plane was sold 1983 to YAC Aircraft Inc. and scrapped 1982.

This repaint package has been produced from a wealth of available imagery that is available to view freely on the internet. Each individual aircraft has been repainted and details such as windows placement, logo/title placement and variances in doors have been reproduced with extreme accuracy. All Everts Air Cargo and Everts Air Fuel individual aircraft have been covered (14). This file does require previous installation of the original DC6-B aircraft from Calclassics (www.calclassic.com) See included readme file for details.
