File Description:
Val-U-Prop is a rogue airline based in Bloomington, Indiana, that flies everything from VIPs to sheep manure anyplace and anytime. VP's motto is "No job too small; No fee too large," and our DC-3's, DC-4's, DC-6's and DC-8's can be seen hedge-hopping into various obscure airports throughout the world. This aircraft is an all-aluminum re-paint of the fabulous DC-3 OH-LCH by Jan Visser, Erik Ellis, Roy Chaffin, Ian Roper and Bill Rambow, to which FS2002 lights have been added. It has military capability, including machine guns and NUCLEAR/GPS/JDAM guided bomb launch. Panel includes everything on main panel, except for GPS and (optional) default radios, so there is no tabbing. The very aluminal wing views were shot by Thomas Klein, and the vintage C-47 cabin was photographed by Tom Turner. Gauges by James Underwood, Ernie Kennedy and Dai Griffiths. This version of the AN-225 is almost too accurate, yet as easy to fly as the real "Dream" it was designed to be. Everything has been incorportated in this version in order to make this the best of the best AN-225 versions for FSX ever produced. This work required well over 50 flight test hours and thousands of dollars worth of research and skill. It's all free, and offered for educational use. Anyone who has flown the previous versions will see a huge improvement in all aspects now offered in this fully refurbished model, based entirely on modern design data and aerodynamic details offered only recently. This model includes all factual performance, weight/balance, and aerodynamic details, and realistic thrust points with high turn radius wheel design. This model is absolutely realist in ever aspect. | FSX/P3D Aero Virgin Islands DC-3 1983 |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aero Virgin Islands colors. The freeware DC-3 (C-47) by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aero Virgin Islands began operations in the spring of 1977. The fleet was basically all DC-3s. Their route network consisted of flights to St. Thomas, and Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and San Juan, in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico-based airline Prinair was the company’s main competitor until their bankruptcy in 1984. Prinair’s failure gave the opportunity for Aero Virgin to be more involved in the region. However, the airline faltered as its aging fleet of DC-3s got many problems, which led to them virtually being unusable. Then, the total destruction of the DC-3 fleet occurred when Hurricane Hugo struck in September 1989. This is a repaint of N28346, which was destroyed in that Hurricane. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should also work on FSX & FSX-SE.

Liveries: Euro Link VA NC & OC (inc winglet model), Aerlingus, Air Holland, Aruba, Britannia, British Airways (Union, Wings, Blue Peter) inc winglet models, Condor, DHL, Excel Airways, First Choice, Iberia (inc winglet model), Icelandair, LTU, Monarch, My Travel, Thomas Cook and XL Airways. All aircraft are equipped with professional sounds and a professional panel. He also integrated the up to date ServInfo gauge into all aircraft for use with VATSIM. The usual push back gauge is also included along with the crew announcements. A new added feature to this package is V Speed readouts, which were not included in the last release.
