File Description:
This is a real world Goose checklist I recieved on my first real flight ever in the fall of 2002. The trip consisted of 3 water landings and takeoffs. it's a fun aircraft to fly. The picture is from the Bali Hai Island excursion repaint by Heather Sherman , Garry J. Smith available at avsim.com (bali-hai_goose.zip).

The Mill Stucky Scenery

File Description:
The monumental mill Stucky complex is located on Venice's biggest island, the Giudecca. The mill, a majestic terra cotta monument in neo-Gothic style, was designed in 1895 by architect Ernst Wullekopf of Hanover for Stucky, a Venetian entrepreneur. In its heyday the mill employed 1500 workers 24 hours a day, churning out bread, pasta and biscuits and becoming a model of its kind due to the technology employed in its plants and its strategic location for transportation by sea. The complex was abandoned after it was forced to close in 1955 due to competition from mills on the mainland. Various attempts had been made to redevelop the mill, the most recent of which had been underway for a number of years; the mill was due to be reopened soon. Redevelopment of this huge complex, promoted by the Acqua Pia Antica Marcia association of Rome, which co-owns the complex along with Banco San Paolo of Turin, was intended to make it into a miniature city, a big multifunctional centre featuring a large luxury hotel, a shopping centre, a conference centre and a hundred or so residential units of various sizes. But on April 15, 2003 a major fire broke out and seriously damaged the remaining mill structures. The future of the complex is uncertain, though the initial reactions are encouraging: Francesco Caltagirone of Acqua Pia Antica Marcia has said that he intends to start the work all over again, for he has promised the city of Venice that he would restore mill Stucky.

The Outer Planets 050125

File Description:
The 2005 edition of The Outer Planets for Orbiter. Features over 100 moons plus the parent gas giants of our Solar System. New effects and more accurate orbital elements are just a few of the showcases. The Outer Planets now comes in both low and high resolution versions. Low resolution is self-contained in the base download and is meant for slower computers while the high resolution version requires downloading the second part. This version of the Outer Planets works only with Orbiter build 050116 or greater due to changes in the basic program. Older builds of Orbiter should use the previous Outer Planets version outerplanets-031105.zip available right here at Avsim.

The software is like a smaller version of Myob for Virtual Airlines. Its all software based very easy to use. No need for website with ASP or PHP, this baby does it all on your local machine, after you have finished you just upload the pages to your site. So free hosting sites are great for this software, it will look like a database driven website but not... If PHP or ASP is hard for you to work out then this is for you. It does so much in a small amount of time. Like the older version it has its virtual bank so you can take out loans for new equipment. But this time you will love the new personal files, keep data on your virtual pilots from meetings to bad raps they may get. Store it all on the personal files with Photo ID if you get your pilots to send you a passport photo. Its only going to get better, this new version had some fixes to the virtual bank and some small nip and tucks here and there. The GOOD NEWS ITS FREEWARE ! everyone can have a copy of this software. You can issue one copy for each hub and have each hub run itself and then report back at the end of month the the CEO in a meeting. Hey its freeware so don't just think about it do it. Its software to manage virtual airlines, and its FREE. This software was payware but now its free !
