NSA - Pine Gap Australia

File Description: Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap is a satellite tracking station in the Australian outback operated by the United States intelligence community. The location is strategically significant because it controls United States spy satellites as they pass over the one third of the globe which includes China, the Asian parts of Russia and the Middle East. Central Australia was chosen because it was too remote for spy ships passing in international waters to intercept the signal. The facility has been described as the ground control and processing station for geosynchronous satellites engaged in signals intelligence collection. JDF Pine Gap is ran by the CIA, NSA, and NRO and is a key location in the global ECHELON surveillance network. Includes a helipad startup location with YPGP ident. Scenery by Jason L. Terry.

Republic F-105D fictional 'Desert Storm'

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Alphasim F-105D Thunderchief to represent a fictional RAF Thunderchief as it might have appeared (like the Buccaneer and Victor) in its last days of service during Desert Storm. The Thud would have been a plausible addition to the RAF's inventory during the mid-1960's as a stop-gap low-level supersonic fighter-bomber until the arrival of the TSR.2, and would have been well suited, with the right electronics suite and munitions, to the operations of Desert Storm. But failure of the TSR.2 programme would leave the RAF having to soldier on for at least 2 decades with an increasingly obsolescent and ageing fleet until the Tornado programme was fully geared up. Textures for both FS9 and FSX are included.

F-101 Voodoo Update

File Description:
This package updates the FS2004 AlphaSim F-101 Voodoo package for use with Flight Simulator X. The main issue with the Voodoos in FSX was most of the gauges could not be displayed because they are the FS98 type which are no longer supported. The 2D and VC panel layouts have been completely rebuilt to address this issue. The panel layouts includes new 2D windows to provide an engine control unit (ECU) and electrical switches which were not included with original package. The update also includes the required thumbnails for the original paint schemes and new FSX style camera views including a rear pilot's view for the CF-101B. The new camera views have been assigned new GUIDs so they won't interfere with other aircraft in your collection.

Update for HSP LGAV 2005 scenery

File Description:
This update consists of a revised AFCAD, flightplans and textures for the Olympic Aviation Dornier. The AFCAD adds 6 parking spaces for stored Olympic Aviation Dornier 228s, some extra parking spaces at Olympic maintenance, some extra Bizjet parking stands on the main apron and 4 cargo parking spaces for Ver-Avia in their realistic position at the edge of the cargo apron. Representative flightplans are included for 4 Ver-Avia Metroliners, and a basic plan is also included for the Dorniers to enable them to appear in the sim. Textures for the Olympic Aviation Dornier by Ismet Mustafic are included, the models for the Metroliner by Dee Waldron and Do228 by Fernando Martinez are available at AVSIM, as are textures for the Ver- Avia Metroliners by Vladimir Svoboda (Cesmina). Hubble Space Telescope Update 2

File Description:
This is an update to the Hubble Space Telescope that comes with the 031105 build of ORBITER. It has the following upgrades: -New meshes -Correct behaviour of the Solar Arrays -Axial Bay1 door animation. Ctrl-B activates it. -Berthing and Postioning System(BAPS) meshes. This is the work cradle that the HST is placed on during the service missions. I also included the BAPS config that was used on the deployment mission, STS-31. -The Solar Arrays can now be rotated using CTRL-R. -The HST now has an active attitude control system which can be turned on/off by press Ctrl-E to turn it on and Ctrl-D to turn it off. -The HST now has better NASA-ESA logo. Credit for that goes to John "MrBatman" Wilson.

Landing Splash Effect for all Aircraft

File Description:
This is a Landing splash effect for all aircraft in FS2002, and my final file for the landing splash effect project. This will work with all aircraft in FS2002, including add-on aircraft. This will make a splash of water come from the wheels of your aircraft when landing, as if you were flying in bad weather, and there was rainwater on the runway. I suggest you use this in bad weather. No smoke will come from the wheels while the effect is on, but you can turn off the effct and restore the smoke. Please note that if you turn on the effect on let's say, the Learjet 45, all AI flight plans that use the Learjet 45 as the AI aircraft, will use the effect as well.

Rarotonga International Airport NCRG Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This sinlge-layer AFCAD file, named NCRGBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Rarotonga International Airport in the Cook Islands, New Zealand. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is NCRG and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-0, Medium-0, Small-2, Express-0, GA-2. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file NCRGBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Nakajima G8N-1 Renzan "Rita"

File Description:
This is the AN-12 modded into the Imperial Japanese Navy's Nakajima G8N-1 Renzan, Allied code name "Rita", for Strike Fighters. THis allows us to have something to shoot at, as well as the Japanese AI a nice big 4 engine bomber to send against us! The bombload is a useful 9000lbs, and she has 20mm defensive armament. And she's fast! The Rita was the best of the Japanese bombers, basically equivilent to a B-29, but never made it into serial production. The skin is of the 721st Kokutai, based at Yokohama, Japan, late 1944. The Rita comes with WOLF's P-47D-20 cockpit if for some reason you want to fly her. Just paste the entire G8N-1 folder into the Objects/Aircraft folder, and fly!
