The Ohio State University Airport (KOSU) Download

File Description:
The Ohio State University Airport (OSU) is one of the leading general aviation facilities in the nation, providing educational opportunities to university students and aircraft services to many of central Ohio's pilots and businesses. The OSU Airport is home to 230 aircraft, including single- and multi-engine, piston and turbine engine aircraft and rotorcraft. The OSU Airport oversees an estimated 100,000 operations per year, including corporate activity, student training, and pleasure flying. By comparison, the OSU Airport generally ranks in the top five airports in Ohio in the number of take-offs and landings with Cleveland Hopkins, Port Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati Lunken. This file includes enhancements to KOSU taxiways and aprons, adds additional airport scenery/buildings, and increases the available parking from 15 ramps in the stock FSX airport to over 180+ ramps (based on actual airport parking).

Flight to the Mayan Curse "Hondo" Download

File Description:
"AT 8:45 PM the land slided inward for more than 3 minutes. It felt like if everything was being sucked down to the bowels of the earth." Gonzalo Carnesco told the chief of police near the town of Pallasco in the central mountains of Honduras.---Dr. Giulio Ranzetti of the Roman-Mayan Institute of Mysterious Civilizations knew he had to go to "Hondo" for he was sure he had read, many years ago while exploring the Honduran Jungles, the incredible Mayan Prediction of the "End" as they called the fracture of the earth. This seemed pretty near to that prediction. Now you come in......Dr. Ranzetti has hired you to fly him and his two women assistants to the emergency camp near the huge hole, now known as "Hondo". From there you will take the small one man helicopter and fly into the "hole" and take samples and photos of the incredible situation....If you get out of there alive, he is to be flown back to Tegucigalpa where he and his assistants will fly back to Rome and maybe with the ported evidence...unriddle this riddle.

Working TACAN Beacons in the UK Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Working TACAN Beacons in the UK: In real-life TACAN beacons require a TACAN receiver to receive the course (OBS) information of the beacon. With a civil VOR/DME receiver you only receive the distance (DME) to the beacon. The problem in FS is that there are no dedicated TACAN gauges, so it's not possible to perform TACAN approaches, because this requires course information of the beacon. To overcome this problem i've modified the TACAN beacons in the UK so you can fully use them with civil receivers. And so are able to fly TACAN approaches. For charts how to fly the TACAN approaches see (procedure section) http://www.cenor.org/ (reupload) by Marcel Ritzema

The Most Dangerous Airports: Lukla V2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Approach to Lukla V2 (Totally New Mission) You are a very experienced pilot flying the Twin Otter for Yeti Airlines on an imaginary flight to and from Lukla. Take-off from Biratnagar airport VNVT climb to at least 13500 ft to WP1 Turn to Lukla. From WP1 carefully descent to 10000 ft (there should be cloud to make it more difficult, if you have some sort of weather add-on running) to WP2 Approach to VNLK, after passing through the gate turn sharp right and land at Lukla airport, remember that the runway has an incline of several degrees. Turn around and take-off again, stay on the runway and rotate just before the end of the runway. Follow the valley back to the south until you are able to track the VOR 112.30 at roughly 276°, till you reach Kathmandu Intl Airport and land. Yes, it sounds easy, butâ¦ find out for yourself.
