This VJPL production of the Cessna Citation Sovereign comes fully loaded with all the features
one could expect of a 16 million dollar business jet Custom designed to be frame rate friendly using
a "Lite" switch that during use in high density scenery hides the passenger cabin in an instant
and reduces the load on the computer, further this model performs better in the VC than with the 2D panel in view, interior appointments include a high detail passenger cabin with running water in the lavatory and a flushing toilet, all tables extend for use and include wine for the animated passenger, a functional bar, an operational computer and all cabin doors including closet open and close and leather seating, animated copilot, fully click able Virtual Cockpit animated down to the visors, and custom cabin lighting, the exterior has all control surfaces and exits animated and thrust reverser's. File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. Syrian Arab Airlines, operating as SyrianAir, is the flag carrier airline of Syria. It operates scheduled international services to several destinations in Asia, Europe and North Africa, the number of flights operated has seriously declined due to the turmoil in Syria. SyrianAir used to serve over 50 destinations worldwide in recent years. Its main base is Damascus International Airport and Aleppo International Airport. SyrianAir is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and Arabesk Airline Alliance.
Syrian Air's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-232 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. File Description:
for use with Rick Pipers wonderful HS.748 ONLY.
Contained in these files are the eight texture files for West Air Swedens present fleet of HS.748`s
the info for painting them was from airliners.net,and i could not tell if they all had wing regs or not.
So please let me know if you have any info that could help fix any mistakes that might be on these textures.
they are as near as i could get them with the info i had.
I believe they have a ninth HS.748 reg SE-LPR build number cn 2057 but i could not find any pics of this,so it was not included.
credits for the original HS.748 and texture packs 1,2,and 3,must go to Rick Piper and his team
West Air Sweden textures are by Alan Cottrill,and i have been given ricks kind permission to send these texture files to avsim.

This texture folder is being updated to add a "highlight" to the emergency window/door on the right side of the cabin. This was overlooked in the original texture folder. Rather than attempt to update a single file in the folder, I choose to provide a full replacement texture folder. This was a special request from one of our friends in Denmark with close ties to the actual aircraft. I do not know how to make the dull finish that we see in the photos and it is way above my head on how to put the registration number on the engine covers. This is as close as I can get to the real world edition but it may be better than nothing for some folks. This repaint is for FSX, P3D, and FSX:Steam. You will need the payware version of the Carenado EMB505 HD Phenom 300 installed to use this repaint. Enjoy.
