File Description:
This version supersedes version 2.1. Designed to fly Los Angeles-London and Paris-Tokyo in 20-plus hours non-stop, the Starliner flew with TWA, Air France, and Lufthansa.

New in v. 2.2: Modified flight dynamics to reflect full engine operation and manual leaning. Improved hardware mixture levers support. Optional advanced users configuration includes carb heat and fuel metering. Revised documentation offers printable checklists, cruise performance operating tables, and a tutorial on leaning with or without hardware mixture controls. Improved engine damage and failure effects. Status window includes color-coded engine diagnostics and warnings. Choice of new or classic style autopilot. Simicons invisible except on mouse hover. "Rotate" callout now precedes V2. Moveable pilot seats for improved panel views. Revised external night textures. Revised TWA fuselage texture.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the RealFlight Simulations excellent F6F Hellcat. These textures represent "Little Joe" flown by Lt. Bob Maxwell, F6F-3 of VF-51, USS San Jacinto(CVL-30) in July 1944. Lt. Maxwell was one of the Navy's aces of World War II.

F6F-3, Hellcat, VF-39

File Description:
This is a repaint of the RealFlight Simulations excellent F6F Hellcat. These textures represent an F6F-3 that is currently on the bottom of Majuro Lagoon at Dalop Island. Dalop Island was liberated on February 2, 1944 from the Japanese. A 5800 foot runway built to support aviation activities. This plane, number 25116 is approximately 500 yards from shore. Indications are this Hellcat was dumped at the end of WWII. The plane was launched after the island was secured from the USS Gambier Bay(CVE-73) and became shore based at Dalop Island. The Gambier Bay(CVE-73) was sunk on October 25, 1944 at 0907 hours. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the RealFlight Simulations F6F Hellcat payware package.

P-47D Razorback, KAY-J

File Description:
This is a repaint of the A2A Simulations excellent P-47D Razorback. These textures represent KAY-J flown by Col. Einar A Malmstrom of 356th FG, 361st FS in the ETO. Col. Malmstrom was shot down while flying 225513 by small arms fire on April 23, 1944 and spent the rest of WWII as a POW. Malmstrom AFB in Montana was named in honor of Col. Malmstrom after his unfortunate death in 1954 while flying a T-33. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the A2A Simulations WOP3 P-47D Razorback payware package.

File Description:
AI version of the Lockheed Starliner v. 2.1 by Manfred Jahn, Hansjoerg Naegele, and others. To optimize frame rates, the model uses MIP texture graphics and three levels of detail - LOD_400 (full screen to about half- screen), LOD_100 (half-screen down to about 1.5 cm), and LOD_040 (1.5 cm and less). Liveries include TWA, Air France (by Alex Carry), Lufthansa (by Tim Scharnhop), and TWA Cargo (by Frank Gonzales). Aircraft configuration adapted from Tom Gibson's and Mike Steven's Calclassic AI project at http://www.calclassic.com/AIAircraft.htm.
