Paris Charles de Gaulle International Aiport LFPG Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This single-layer AFCAD file, named LFPGBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is LFPG and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-8, Medium-6, Small-22, Express-0, GA-9. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file LFPGBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 8

File Description:
Can a Boeing 777-300 do that? Find out if you can in The Florida Keys. Ahhhhhhh, for the first time ever you'll notice a default AI DC3 in FS2004. Where? Havana, Cuba. Look for it before departing the gate area. With a couple of United States stops behind us, its on towards the hot destination of spring break in Cancun, Mexico. Now in Central America, we venture to an airfield with no markings or lights whatsoever. Good thing it was a daytime landing. Looking at my charts, we may have some dicey approaches upcoming for Central America. I hope the weather is above IFR conditions during our operations there. Once we complete the many legs in Central America, its back to the USA before heading up towards Canada and Greenland.

TX Winged Space Launcher Second Release

File Description:
TX (Tug eXperimental) - the experimental hypersonic airspace vehicle. TX is the universal orbital launcher which can lift into a low circular orbit any payloads in weight up to 40-50 tons. TX also can serve as the first stage for heavier payloads having own engines. Payload configuration is provided through a scenario file. Features: some animation of the visual model, combined hydrogen engines, accurate model of an atmospheric phase of flight, no instrumental panel (may be released in next version). Detailed documentation. This package also includes "SRC Space Port" - space port for basing TX vehicle (SRC - "Space Research Center"), Star City scenery and experimental VTOL-X ship. Installation is very easy and fully described in readme file. This is the second release, ver. 1.2.2.0 (for changes see readme file).

FSPanel

File Description:
This application is a generic General Aviation aircraft instrument panel for use with FS2004 and FS2002. It may work with FS2000 as well, but I haven't got a copy to test it with. The program displays a GA type IFR instrument panel on a second computer via Pete Dowson's WideFS. It can also be used on a second monitor on the same computer as a replacement for the MSFS panel, but this is not it's intended use. The panel is written without any use of 3D acceleration or OpenGL, so it will work on any computer capable of running Windows 95 or better. It has been tested and runs fine on a PII 133 with 8MB of RAM and a 4MB video card. Put that cheap old laptop to use as a seperate instrument panel!

This issue includes a few Tips that may help solve a couple of common problems as well as several links to very interesting and useful sites. Included is the popular "From the E-Mail Bag" department which answers a question of general interest. New in this issue is a section devoted to an aircraft of historical interest. There is also a Tip which will lead you to some really exceptional AI work. An updated index by John Burford for the entire series in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format is included. St. Thomas Virtual Airlines presents our new Bombardier Dash 8 Q400's painted on the beautiful Dreamwings freeware model. Both aircraft, N1404DR and N1406DR, are included in DXT-3 or 32-bit texture formats. STVA is a virtual airline operating from the Cyril E. King Airport on the island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. STVA was founded at the 24th of May, 2008. We currently serve many destinations in the Caribbean, South and North America with our fleet of Fokker F-70 and F-100's, Bombardier Dash 8 Q400's, Boeing 757-200's.
