Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - An INDEX. This is an index in Excel format (xls) of the popular Tips and Tricks series compiled by David "Opa" Marshall, parts 1 thru 11. The index may be "searched" and "sorted" to display the information you desire. A short guide in .doc format is included to assist those who may not be familiar with Excel. Requires Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet program), which is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite. When the Tips and Tricks series resumes in the Fall of 2005, we anticipate including an updated copy of this Index with each issue. This is a repaint of PMDG's excellent P-8A Poseidon. These textures represent a P-8A of the United States Navy as it could appear as member of VP-4, "Skinny Dragons" at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This scheme is presently fictitious. VP-4 has not received any Poseidons as of yet. When they do it may or may not appear as these textures represent. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the PMDG "737 NGX 800/900 Base Pack" payware package for FSX with SP1d or the newly released Prepar3D version.
The textures work in FSX and Prepar3D.

This works for both FS9 and FSX. Tested in FSX. FS9 model used.
For FSX users; You may have to UNCHECK "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" in the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day.
Texture quality; 32Bit with alpha, FSX Native DDS DXT5 with alpha, FS9 Native BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night textures.
May use custom shadows, highlights, weathering and other features.
Included repaint is for the following model: AIA_FOKKER_100 from AI Aardvark.
Model is available on AVSIM, FlightSim.com or on the author/developers site.

A 37 seat twin turboprop regional airliner. Air Labrador Reg:
C-GAAN, Based in St Johns, Newfoundland. This is the default MS Dash8 modified and remapped in Gmax for proper texture orientation and includes a new Flight Model, HTML Check / Ref lists and new Master Textures with reflections and new night mapping. Should work in FS2002 Pro also. We at PAD were dissapointed at seeing nice repaints of the default Dash8 repainted with only one good full texture side. That is now history.
