File Description:
TWA Lockheed L-749 N6003C, c/n 2635, short nose version in colors of about 1954. Delivered to "Transcontinental & Western Air" on 24 April 1950 carrying the name "Star of Texas" and fleet number "803". When in 1950 the airline changed its name to Trans World Airlines "803" renamed "Star of America". In December 1966 withdrawn from use and stored at Kansas City. On 17 August 1968 bought by Aero-Tech and transferred to Tucson,
Arizona, stored and finally broken up in October 1973.
Textures only. The FS2004/FSX Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Kit (lockheed749.zip) must be installed.

File Description:
These are textures ONLY in BOAC livery for FSDZigns Constellation. These livery textures will be a good companion to the repaint of the same plane in Capital Airlines livery, done by Wayne Tudor, which was uploaded a few days ago. This particular "Connie" was originally delivered to BOAC, but later transfered to Capital Airlines. In order to uses this repaint, you must already have FSDZigns L049A.

| Conifair Lockheed 749 Constellation Tankers |

File Description:
FS9 Textures for the Lockheed 749 Constellation by Manfred Jahn and Volker Bohme.
The textures depict Lockheed C-121A Constellations C-GXKO Tanker 1, and C-GXKR Tanker 2, when they were used by Conifair for spraying budworms in the forestry in the 1980's.
C-GXKO, ex 48-609 c/n2601, went on to become the well known MATS Constellation owned by Vern Raeburn and then was acquired by a museum in Korea where it is now on permanent display.
C-GXKR, ex 48-612, c/n2604, sat derelict for some time after being retired from spraying duties. It was then acquired by a museum in Holland and restored to flying condition and KLM colors, and flown across to Lelystad, Holland, where it is now on display at the Aviodrome, and although not flown, it is kept in a state of airworthiness. Pan American World Airways livery for the A2A COTS L049 Constellation. These textures will also work in FSX.
Pan American World Airways, known from its founding until 1950 as Pan American Airways[1] and commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States from 1927 until its collapse on December 4, 1991. Founded in 1927 as a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating between Key West, Florida, and Havana, Cuba, the airline became a major company credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems. It was also a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global airline industry association.[3] Identified by its blue globe logo ("The Blue Meatball"), the use of the word "Clipper" in aircraft names and call signs, and the white pilot uniform caps, the airline was a cultural icon of the 20th century. In an era dominated by flag carriers that were wholly or majority government-owned, it was also the unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States. This paintkit is a supplement for the FS2004 Lockheed L-749 project by Team 749 (Manfred Jahn & Co). For this paintkit you will require the Lockheed L-749 Constellation package (lockheed749.zip), containing the folders Lockheed_L749_0 (twin stack exhausts) and Lockheed_L749_1 ("jetstacks" exhausts). In designated folders you will find templates in 32 bit format (incl. Alpha Channel) which form a basis for making repaints of textures of four versions of the L-749 Constellation. The main differences between the textures are the two basic window arrangements and the two exhaust systems. The templates of the L-749's can be used to make repaints for the L-649, L-649A, L-749 and L-749A aircraft. The templates, based on the textures by Manfred Jahn, have been made by Maarten Brouwer. These templates have been tested in FS2004 (FS9) only.
