PAA Clipper Undaunted. N88855, Lockheed L-049 Constellation, Clipper Invincible, notes: C/n 2055, delivered to Pan Am on 22 April 1946. This Connie also carried the title Clipper Undaunted. TEXTURES ONLY. You need a legal copy of the WOS_L049 by A2A. "Pan American World Airways, known from its founding until 1950 as Pan American Airways[1] and commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal and largest international air carrier in the United States from 1927 until its collapse on December 4, 1991. Founded in 1927 as a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating between Key West, Florida, and Havana, Cuba, the airline became a major company credited with many innovations that shaped the international airline industry, including the widespread use of jet aircraft, jumbo jets, and computerized reservation systems. It was also a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global airline industry association.[3] Identified by its blue globe logo ("The Blue Meatball"), the use of the word "Clipper" in aircraft names and call signs, and the white pilot uniform caps, the airline was a cultural icon of the 20th century. In an era dominated by flag carriers that were wholly or majority government-owned, it was also the unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States. During most of the jet era, Pan Am's flagship terminal was the Worldport located at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City."(Source: Wikipedia)

This is a repaint of the Fairchild Metroliner II in Air Virginia 1982 colors. The freeware Fairchild Metro III by Jon Murchison is needed for this repaint. Lynchburg based Air Virginia was formed by Rodney H. Jaeger in January 1979, and started operations with daily flights to Washington DC. They initially used Fairchild (Swearingen) Metro IIs, and Piper Navajo Chieftains. In 1981 they introduced the British Aerospace BAe 748-B2 to the fleet. 1983 saw them buy and merge Mid-South Airlines.
Their route network expanded to 17 destinations by 1984; Maryland, Virginia,New York, New Jersey, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Later that year, the airline was purchased by Dimitri P. Nicholas. In 1985 they became a commuter partner of American Airlines, and inaugurated flights as the third member of the American Eagle commuter network. They changed their name to AV Air in November 1985, but by 1988 the airline ceased operations. This repaint depicts a Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226-TC Metro II of Air Virginia, which was delivered new to the airline in October 1980. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, FS2004 & P3Dv1-3.

Meridiana, Italy’s long established privately owned airline, has announced an
exciting new phase of growth and development with its new identity as Air Italy.
During a press conference in Milan, Mr. Marco Rigotti, Chairman of Alisarda and AQA
Holding; His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways;
Mr. Sultan Allana of Alisarda and AKFED and Mr. Francesco Violante, Chairman of
Meridiana, unveiled Air Italy’s fresh and modern brand identity and presented the
new airline business plan, focusing on excellent passenger experience and the next
generation of traveller, aimed at positioning itself as Italy’s leading airline.
Air Italy aims to have approximately 50 aircraft by 2022 and is already committed to
receiving 20 of the brand new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft type from April 2018, over the
next three years. Air Italy will also receive five Airbus A330-200 aircraft this
year from the Qatar Airways’ fleet, prior to these being further replaced by Boeing
787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, commencing in May 2019.

This is a repaint of the 727-277 in Wien Air Alaska 1984 colors. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Wien Air Alaska was Alaska’s oldest major airline, and one of America's oldest. They inaugurated their first scheduled flights between Fairbanks and Nome on June 20, 1927. Wien operated various piston airliners before they formally entered the turboliner era with the acquisition of 2 Fairchild F-27As in 1958-59. In the early 1970s Wien was making good profits. However, 1977 was a particularly bad year as their pilots went on a major strike, and they posted a net loss of $742,000; a substantial amount for the airline. They made a recovery in 1979-80. Their route system was 10,500 miles long and they flew to over 150 points in Alaska, Canada, and Seattle. By 1981 their revenues climbed 42.8% to $180.7 million, the highest ever for the airline. However, further financial problems hit Wien heavily and they closed for business on November 28, 1984. Wien had 4 727-200s in their fleet. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
