Lunar Mission Using Nuclear Power

File Description:
This is a Lunar mission using a Shuttle-C unmanned cargo shuttle to deliver a nuclear powered rocket into orbit. A second mission by the Space Shuttle Atlantis delivers the moon lander and one crewman into orbit to dock to the nuclear N.E.R.V.A.-2 booster, which is capable of taking the single man lander to the moon and back to redock to the Atlantis, and land home safe and sound using the Atlantis. Although the mission is totally my own creation, the machinery was researched and fairly accurate for weights and fuel efficiency. Using nuclear power a lot of payload can be pushed to the moon because it is over twice as strong as conventional rockets. Also, the Shuttle-C was actually in the process of being built by N.A.S.A during the 1990s (I've seen a photo of a partially built vehicle). The Shuttle-C uses Vinka's multistage, but I have included the minimum files neccessary to make the Shuttle-C fly. You don't need to download anything other than this add-on. If you don't have Vinka's mulitstage, you won't see boosters or tanks after they've been jettisoned, so it would help to have it anyways. This add-on is compatible with Build 021217 of Orbiter.

Atlantis Mod 1.5a

File Description:
This is a modification of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. These issues have been adressed in this mod: - Attitude control by thrust vectoring - Full Autopilot during launch - Custom exhaust flames - Possible engine failures - Gravity gradient - Aerodynamic control surfaces - Speed brake - Trim during reentry - Drogue chute after landing. This is a bugfix. The previously missing mesh is included, the "ghost" flame after SRB separation has been removed.

Myasishchev 3M-T 'Atlant'

File Description:
Myasishchev 3M-T 'Atlant' (atlas) In the mid 1970's the USA began the development of a re-usable space transport system that soon became universally known as the Space Shuttle. The Soviet Union responded by launching the development of a similar system, known generally as the 'BURAN' (SnowStorm). To transport the components of the 'Buran' orbiter and 'Energia' space launch vehicle to the Baikonur, Kazakhstan launch site, the Myasishchev OKB proposed using the 3M bomber as a carrier. Engineering changes to the three 3MN 'Bison-B' tankers selected for conversion to transports included a 7 meter up-swept fuselage extension, twin end plate square vertical stabilizers, and strengthened out-rigger struts. Ares Space Station

File Description:
This a little creation of mine, decided a big space station should exist for future Mars missions orbiting Mars. Obviously fictional, I present you the Ares Space Station, which is twice as big as the ISS and has twice the number of solar-panels. It also has the ability to accomodate 7 ships with its docking ports. Currently orbiting Mars at 820km altitude makes it the perfect place to rendevous, pick up some fuel and head off for home.
