South African Airways GE 'Untitled' Project Opensky 747-400 V4. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trailing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. File Description:
SAA operated a total of seven DC-4 aircraft, the first joining the fleet in 1946. SAA Skymasters took over the Springbok Route to London in 1946 and operated extensively in Southern Africa until 1967. They were used to inaugurate the Skycoach services in 1959. ZS-AUA flew with South African Airways from 1946 till 1966 as ZS-AUA 'Tafelberg'. From 1966 till 1995 the DC-4 flew with the South African Air Force as 6901. In 1995 the Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) purchased it and was christened 'Skymaster'. In 1997 she was re-registered PH-DDS. Textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 model, repainted by Dave McQueen (DC4_V30.ZIP). This repaint by Andre Reimers.

This model is made for FS2004 and has some XML coded animations.: Flex Wings, Body gear steering under 15kt/above 1kt., Nose gear steering under 60kt above 1kt., Rudder lock under 60kt above 1kt., Ground spoiler only works on ground, Low speed aileron locks at high speed, Ground Service Equipments when cargo and bulk door open, and lot more! Please visit www.projectopensky.com for updates and paints etc. Note: For use in FS2004. Can be used in FSX, but is unsupported.
Livery details: ZS-SAU Cape Town as she appeared in the 1980's and then in the 1990's wearing the old and then newer Springbok colours. Livery painted by Philip Foglar.

Dedicated to ZS-SAS (lost over the Indian Ocean 1987), and ZS-SAR (lost at Halifax, Canada 2004 as MK Airlines). Repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
South African Airways (ZS-SFN) repaint for the awesome Project Airbus model. This was made on behalf of FlyingKiwi Designs by Fraser Jeffery (Founder). Please don't hesitate to email me at the email address provided in the readme.txt. If you have good eyes you may be able to spot a small problem on the tail of the aircraft when looking at the screenshots. This has now been fixed and the fix is included in the final version.
