Royal Aviation operated the Canadian charter airline Royal Airlines. It was based at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The airline went bankrupt in 2001 as Canada 3000 had bought out the Royal Aviation group several months prior to the events of September 11.

This is a fictional repaint in Royal Airlines livery. Royal did not use 747's in their operation.
This repaint includes textures only with the three engine varients used in the sim. You will need the PMDG747-400 payware package from www.precisionmanuals.com to use this livery. Painted by George "Alky® Fisher

Every texture of the model has been modified and customized in some way or other, featuring: Accurate details according to real photos of the exact aircraft, accurate colors, customized cabin and cockpit window textures, added gear strut shading and details, custom wing textures featuring weathering and a hint of fuselage reflection, free-flowing and matching textures throughout, custom night lighting, the list goes on. File Description:
This Qantas 747-438, reg. VH-OJK, was introduced in May 1991. On July 25th, 2008, QFA Flight 30 was scheduled to fly from Hong Kong to Melbourne, Australia, when without warning at 29,000 feet, a loud bang was heard by the crew and the cabin starts to depressurize because a hole was formed in the fuselage. But miraculously, all 346 passengers and 19 crew on board survive. This incident was caused by corrosion by the front cargo area of the aircraft. Special Note: The repaint may not look like the one on the actual aircraft.
