File Description:
This repaint is based on D-ABYA, the first commercial airline 747-8i aircraft handed over to Lufthansa on April 25th and arrived in Frankfurt on May 2nd.
This package is based on photos of D-ABYA at Frankfurt Airport on May 2nd wearing the latest real-world livery and is modeled accurately with updated fuselage textures and specular reflections, updated engine textures and correct window placements as per the real aircraft.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

File Description:
This FSX repaint depicts the -8i aircraft (PP-VOC) in the mid-1980's color scheme of Varig.
This is my interpretation based on past photos of 747-200 aircraft belonging to Varig.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.

The 747 Supertanker is a series of tankers for use in aerial firefighting, based on a Boeing 747 wide-body aircraft. In 2015, Global SuperTanker Services, LLC purchased the shares of former Evergreen Supertanker Services (with the exception of Model 747-100 itself). The tanks of the old 747-100 were moved to the 747-400. The 747-400 model is capable of operating with 74 200 liters of retardant or water for 6400 km. Reg. N744ST. TEXTURES ONLY. Two repaints.. and one fix, if you downloaded the Regional One Dash 8-200Q.
I fixed the night texture so there would be no bleed through of the old texture. Also found a small photo at the HawakAir website of the "new" paint scheme for their Dash 8 aircraft.
This is a complete file including both the Regional One Airlines dash 8 and the New HawkAir Dash 8.

File Description:
Textures for AI-Aardvark's excellent DC-8 Model in German Cargo (GCS) colors. German Cargo Services (CCS) was a subsidiary company of Lufthansa. Founded in 1977 it provided split and full charter freight services. In 1984 the fleet of four Boeing 707-Freighters was replaced by five DC-8-73.
Textures only! You need AI-Aardvark's Douglas DC-8-71/DC-8-73 basepack (aiaDC8_7.zip)available i.e. here at avsim.com.
