JEX was created by JAL as a new low-cost product based at Osaka-Itami(ITM\RJOO). While the JEX of today flies 42 737s on behalf of JAL, JEX of 1998 had just started operations with only 2 737-400s flying. You may find JEX mostly at Osaka-Itami(ITM) between flights to Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Texture for the FAIB 737-400 by Ranmori Scythe is included. File Description:
Fictional repaint of the Project Opensky 747SP PBR Model in Eastern Airlines/Pan Am colors. This was originally on a 747-100 that Eastern aquired from Pan AM. These are 32bit textures and for the PBR model for P3Dv4.5. Should work in P3Dv5 although I have not tested it. They will not display properly in FS2004, FSX or P3Dv1-3 as there is no alpha channel. The PBR model gives off enough reflection for realism. Many THANKS to Carl Lyndon Nepomuceno and his team for the PBR conversion of this model and THANKS Hiroshi Igami for allowing this project to happen!!! These are textures only. You must have the 747-SP PBR model in order to use these textures. Follow the README file for installation.

Afterburner effects for FSD T-38A Talon
to be flown in FS2004. Revised from 2002
version, still uses "afterburner" key.
This version has XML control of flaptip
and wingtip vortices, and "burner" smoke
with optional "whooom" sound at ignition
of afterburner. New afterburner flames
w/panel indicator. Runway tire marks w/
optional "chirp" sound. Custom contrail
(very long). Custom jet startup effects
w/ optional "heat" shimmer. Installation
is manual but easy. W/aircraft.cfg info
for optional speed increase (Mach 1.5).
"Whooom" sound is in separate D/L, look
for WHOOM_FX.zip.

The Aircraft is depicted in the colours of the South African Airforce. No 2023 is depicted as aircraft No 1 of the Silver Falcons Aerobatic team. The Astras are used by the SAAF as its primary trainer. This is a full package that includes sound and a photorealistic panel with xml gauges. Features include full moving parts, opening canopy, reflective textures, VC and accurate flight performance based on pilot input. All working parts can be activated from the cockpit. BGLXML 1.8, by Alessandro G. Antonini (C)2004 this is an utility which disassembles BGL files
into new FS2004 format and produces an XML file to be compiled with Microsoft BGLCOMP (from FS2004 SDK). Besides disassembling all BGL records, it is also able to extract .MDL files from ModelData sections. This utility is freeware and open-source, licensed under GNU-GPL to help developers understand the new FS2004 BGL structures (contributors are welcome) - please read inside documentation for important infos. Also includes XMLSHELL, a GUI program for controlling bglxml from Windows Explorer.
