XFCS simulates fly-by-wire control of combat aircraft. See readme.pdf for indepth description.
News in version 1.5
- XFCS now works with X-Plane's autopilot. All autopilot commands are exectuted by the FCS control laws, resulting in excellent autopilot accuracy and seemless integration.
- Improved pitch response in AoA-demand mode.
- AoA-demand mode blends AoA and speed data, making it easier to control speed and glideslope with power adjustments.
- AoA-feedback in G-demand mode: Flying above 15 degrees angle of attack requires light stick backpressure. Many real control systems work this way.
- Inverted flight now requires slight forward stick pressure. A lot of pilots feel more at home with this behaviour and many real FCS�s have it.
- �Mach bucket� is now simulated. This is a common way to handle transsonic pitch buffeting. Max load factor is decreased by 2 G�s in the Mach .95 - 1.1 range.
- XFCS should now run faster on low end computers, having less effect on frame rate.
- Transition from ground mode to flight mode now follows pitch attitude instead of airspeed. This works better for most designs.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-26 Invader by Milton Shupe and many others at Sim-Outhouse. It shows A-26C 44-34313 Sweet Eloise II N4313. Sweet Eloise is a resatored warbird with over 1800 Hours of combat time. It is painted in the markings it had originally when it was the personal aircraft of the 730th Bomb Squadron Commander, Charles H. Howe, at Pusan, South Korea in 1951, who named the aircraft "Sweet Eloise" after his wife. It was also the first A-26 developed into a Fire Bomber, in 1959. Released as an open championship gift to flight-simmers who golf (whether on a real course, or in Links 2003), this file contains textures for the Jet City Aircraft payware, which you must have, to make them function. There are FS2002 and FS2004 versions of this payware, and the FS2004 version is known to work in FSX, with a proper FSX panel. The fictive tail number has been placed unobtrusively, and shows a sense of humor. LinksAir is another concept of mine fusing FS with a popular PC golf sim that is still going strong, 9 years after it first appeared. Plans call for operating a virtual European mini-tour, this September (details in the READ ME).

Since Carenado started making aircraft for X Plane , a fellow painter named Leen de Jager converted my FS 9 / FS X Carenado Mooney paints for use in that sim . Leen recently made this paint of N17NS for X Plane , so I have returned the favour and converted his paint for use in FS 9 / FS X . Leen has redrawn the panel lines and riveting and so has also changed the bump mapping for the FS X version .
This is a revised version of the earlier mooney_n17ns.zip , with an improved spinner . If you have downloaded the earlier version just replace those textures with these .
Full instructions are included for installing into FS 9 or FS X .

Presenting the fantastic Project OpenSky Boeing 757-200 (RB211 fitted) in Airtours livery. TEXTURES ONLY for the freeware POSKY 752 model, please read the ReadMe for installation.
This livery was carried by the Airtours fleet up until the point the franchise was reorganised, and the airline became MyTravel (now overtaken by Thomas Cook)
After many months of trawling Flight Sim download sites, I had noticed that this livery existed solely for payware models of the 757, so I set about creating it on the POSKY model. This reskin is nowhere near perfect, however, I have at best tried to keep a reasonable level of detail, as well as high quality texture files (32-Bit, no Mip-Maps).

Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Northwest Airways (NWA) livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org.
This is a repaint of G-AMPY which was built in 1943 and served with NWA. She was built for the USAF and then transferred to the RAF in 1944. She served with a number of Airlines after WWII This repaint is based on the 50th Anniversary livery (1986). There is also an FSX version of the texture available on this site. FS2004 Scenery Fordlandia
Fordlandia is a now-abandoned, prefabricated industrial town established in the Amazon Rainforest in 1928 by American industrialist Henry Ford to secure a source of cultivated rubber for the automobile manufacturing operations of the Ford Motor Company in the United States.
Scenery is a historical FS2004 rendition of the town and factory facilities circa 1930's. Has a runway and airport plus a sea runway and some additional fictional extras to enrich the scenery. Created for your flight sim enjoyment by the Ford Project Team. File Description:
This is an engine gauge(xml gauge)update for Thomas Ruth's new 727 model for FSX (tom7271.zip ). The gauge update changes the N1, N2, & EGT engine gauge calibration to reflect gauge readings within the normal and maximum ranges at TOGA(Take Off/Go-Around),MCT(Maximum Continuous thrust), and Cruise thrust settings. The original gauge readings at higher throttle settings indicated high off-scale for N1, N2, and especially EGT. The new gauge/thrust ratios may not perfectly reflect real 727 JT-8D engine settings in sim but the intent was to limit the maximum ranges.
Thanks to Thomas Ruth for making such an excellent 727 freeware model for FSX and giving permission for posting this small update.

Propeller texture 3-pack for FS2004 aircraft when used in FSX.
Your choice of 2-blade, 3-blade, or 4-blade propeller textures.
Subtle and as transparent as I could make them, these props will
make many FS2004 airplanes more FSX friendly.
Saved as 32 bit bitmaps, but easily converted via your DXTBMP program
to DXT3 or even DDS textures. I've tested all these prop textures as
32 bit bitmaps, DXT3 bitmaps, and DDS (32 bit) textures in FSX SP2 and all
work fine. Easy installation instructions. I offer these to the
flight sim community as PUBLIC DOMAIN. Use them in any way that you
