Continuing on with our crossing of North America, we have here package #5 and our final set of adventure flights within the state of Alaska! Our flights begin at Hoonah, AK and finish up at historical Skagway. The aircraft used are: DHC-2 Beaver Amphibian, Republic Seabee, Waco float bi-plane, Bearhawk float, Cessna 185 float, Cessna 206 II amphibian, Bellanca Scout float, DHC-6 Amphibian, Lake Renegade 250, Bell 47J2 helo floats. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of North American T-6G F-BJBF, 1970. Originally built as 41-33931 (c/n 88-14948), it went to the RAF as EX959. It was used by the 20 Service Flying Training School in Rhodesia from January 1943 onwards. After the war, it was transported back to the UK, where it was sold to the Belgian Air Force, where it became H-9. It flew from Brustem until 1959. The Belgian Air Force then sold it to Air France, with 14 other Harvards, for use at its flight school in Pontoise Cormeilles en Vexin, west of Paris. It flew with Air France until 1965, when it was sold to Mr Urbain of Cannes, who flew it in bare metal with a checkered rudder until 1971. This is the paintscheme depicted here. It then went to the UK, becoming G-AZJD. It remained based at Biggin Hill until 1984, when it went back to France as F-AZDU, being bought by Guy Robert, a former Mirage pilot who recieved his training in the '50's on a Harvard in Marocco. In 2001 it was sold to John Colors SL in Barcelona, but it retained its French registration of F-AZDU. It is still airworthy, based at Sabadell in Spain. File Description:
An artistic representation of an actual of LN-TEX. LN-TEX was built by Noorduyn Aviation in Canada as a Harvard Mk. II in 1944. It served with the British Royal Air Force as well as the Belgian, Portugese and German Air Forces in the years to come. In 1979 it was bought by Norwegian Anders Sæther from Scandinavian Historic Flight. It was painted in a USAAF silver paint-scheme, and have been stationed at Kjeller Aerodrome in Norway for many years. LN-TEX got a Pratt & Whitney R-1340-AN-1 Wasp radial engine giving it 600 horsepower. Maximum speed is ca. 300 km/h while cruise speed is at ca 235 km/h. Textures only. You need a legal copy of the A2A T-6 Harvard.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint only for the Alphasim T-6 Harvard, representing RCAF 713, that is presently based near Windsor, Canada. It was built by Canadian Car & Foundry in 1952 and served with the RCAF between 1952 and 1965. It was first registered as N7518U in the US, before returning to Canada in september 2003. She is with her present owner since november 2004, registered as CF-SIX. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
