This is an updated Flight plans for my previous version Air China Winter 2007. Three new routes was added. The first one is between Beijing and Pyongyang. The second is daily flight between Beijing and Macau. The last one is between Beijing and Saipan. Total 5402 flights are all included. Special thanks to Doug McEwen for providing these three new routes information. For those who download my previous version of the flight plans, I apologize for any inconvenience. File Description:
SimLauncherX (or SLX for short) can be used as a launcher application for both FSX:ME, FSX:SE and Prepar3D (v1, v2 and v3). Flights/scenarios can be loaded when launching the simulator or when the simulator is already running. New flights can be created by selecting one of the installed aircraft, selecting the start location (runway or parking position), selecting the type of weather and the time of day. You can also display and create flight plans and attach them to a flight as requested or active flight plan. Version 5.9 adds a flight computer, AI browser, interactive (spoken) checklists, PMDG 737/777 CDUs, approach charts, fleet management and many other improvements. SimLauncherX is a more modern version of my previous SimLauncher application with a lot of additional functionality:
- interactive map.
- display, create and modify flight plans.
- show .kml/.kmz files on the map.
- radio stack.
- instruments panel.
- scenery.cfg editor.
- dll/exe.xml editor.
- process monitor.
Works with FSX:ME, FSX:SE and P3D v1, v2 and v3.

SimControl will give you access to thousands and thousands of Aircraft, Sceneries and other Freeware add-ons for your Flight Simulator. With SimControl even unskilled users are able to install and use most of the existing Freeware add ons. You can install – manage – change all installed aircraft, sceneries or air traffic flight plans. SimControl will check all installation files, so it finds missing gauges, sounds, effects, graphics, or wrong for-mats. SimControl eliminate all unnecessary files, generates automatically a consistent folder structure for your aircraft, and place all files to their correct places inside of your Flight Simulator. SimControl validate all used paths and correct errors if possible. Sim-Control register and check all installed and used gauges, effects, sound, panels, flights, sceneries, and Air Traffic flight plans. The integrated maintenance assistant checks all facilities in your Flight Simulator and your SimControl archive and give you a brief ex-planation of all errors and problems.

File Description:
In 1977 the novel "Imperial 109", by Richard Doyle, was published. The story is based on the flight of an Imperial Airways Short 'Empire' Class flying-boat, "Caterina", on its journey through Africa to Cairo and onwards through Europe to England and finally across the Atlantic to New York. When I read this novel just recently I couldn't help but think that it would make a wonderful Flight for Flight Simulator, and the fact that the characters and storyline was fiction was of no concern, because the airline, the aircraft and the route flown were real. I also considered that the best way to present this was to publish it as an unfolding story in blog format, in the same fashion as the Sir Alan Cobham flight around Africa which I had undertaken. Therefore I present you with "Imperial 109" for Microsoft Flight Simulator and you can take part by following and flying the updates as I present them online.
