Gateway Forest Products, Ketchikan, Alaska

File Description:
Gateway Forest Products in Ketchikan Alaska is another Alaskan dock facility for floatplanes. While that plant at Ketchikan does exist in reality, I modeled it from an existing plant in Montana, where I pulled veneer off the green chain many years ago. I left the loading doors open along the dockside of the plant, which allows good interior views of all the machinery. The interior is brightly night lighted, and all of the major aspects of plywood manufacture in a typical plant are there, right down to the interiors of the restrooms.

Saipan International Airport

File Description:
This scenery redoes the entire Saipan Airport in it's beautiful Asian influenced Polynesian architecture. It depicts the airport as accurately as possible, and has spectacular night lighting complete with some illuminated palm trees. Much of the airport is open air, and you can actually drive a car into the terminal and see it's park like setting with fountains, benches, some people, illuminated trees, roof shelters, and security checkpoints. The control tower also reflects the same beautiful architecture of the terminals. It is also very frame rate friendly for all the stuff that is in it.

Over places where dinosaurs once roamed, and cowboys still ride the range. Small towns, badlands, and spectacular parks. I suggest you download and install Dwayne Matheson's mesh files for southern Alberta. There are 5 zip files in all to cover this area you'll be flying in. For one of the flights you'll need an aircraft w/ tundra tires. I suggest you download Brian Gladden's Piper Super Pacer.

US Navy LST

File Description:
FS2004/FS2002 API macro--US Navy LST in 4 versions for scenery designers. Sea, Cargo Doors open for unloading from the lower deck, cargo doors and ramp to the upper deck down and also a version with the ship broken in half as happened at Chu Lai, Vietnam during an storm when the LST was driven onto a rocky shore. GP Medium Army Tent

This tent was often used in Vietnam for enlisted personel quarters at more permanent locations. It was also used for office and medical team space in the field.
