Project Opensky is extremely pleased to release the VC-25A variant of the 747-200 V4 series!!! This package includes both 82-8000 and 92-9000 variants of the VC-25A. ***THIS IS VERSION 2 OF THE ORIGINAL RELEASE!!!*** Updates from V1: Photoreal gear rims and tires, custom fan blade textures w/ transparent effects, changed color [blue], "spick-n-span" wings [they're clean], polished aluminum surfaces, pistine & clean-cut appearance overall. Fly her with PRIDE!!! Alternante FDE by Nick Peterson [POSKY] also included [installed by default. More details in the Package]. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... This package will upgrade the Delta Airlines 777-200LR that was part of the initial Project Opensky 777v2 series release. This package will upgrade the exterior textures. The old textures have been updated as follows: 1) The registration of the airplane has switched to N704DK, 2) The old wing textures has been replaced by more detailed textures, 3) Better tire rims have been added , 4) Fan textures have been altered to add more transparency, 5) GE90-110B1 Engine textures were upgraded, 6) The brightness of the widget has been toned down, 7)The pink landin gear struts have been painted over to grey, and 8) The Tail widget has been dimmed and resized to reflect more accurate positioning [based on photos]. Textures by Ben Jones/Yosuke Ube. Delta paint by Brandon D. Henry.

I was contacted some time back by some Canadian simmers looking for a rendition of an Air Canada Boeing 767-200 in the "Maple Leaf" 2 red cheat line livery of the early 1990's. I had been wanting a reason to repaint the Project Opensky Boeing 767 V4 model, so this was my chance. Sadly, Air Canada retired the last 767-200 from service in 2008. This particular airframe, the 5th 767 delivered to Air Canada, was retired around 2002.
This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night textures are custom as well. The stewardess is a former Miss Canada, the interior exit signs are in French (SORTIE) and the pushback tug even bears the old Air Canada logos. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. I hope you enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. A special thanks to Lorne Jordan who suggested this repaint and supported me on getting it 'just right.' This is a complete install and contains all Project Opensky provided files current to Version 2004.8.0. The sound is from the default B737.

This is a nostalgia repaint. This airframe, registration N603P and named 'Pride of Piedmont', was Piedmont Airways' first B767. It was delivered to Piedmont from Boeing in May of 1987. I first saw it at KBWI and it looked so impressive at the gate parked among the B732's B733's, F50's, Dash7's and other turboprops of the Piedmont fleet of the time. She was a true giant then. This airframe still flies for US Airways in their new livery and bears registration N245AY. It makes runs from KPHL to/from the west coast (KLAX) and from KCLT over the pond to EGLL on occasion.

In August of 2006, I released a repaint of Arik Air's first CRJ-900 in the Project Opensky model, still bearing the Canadian registration number. Well, it's been a few years and Arik Air has a fleet of 4 CRJ9's in service. This is registration 5N-JEB and bears the name "PATRICK".
This release of the Arik Air CRJ9 is a very detailed repaint with custom textures. Logos are all hand-painted. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night textures are custom as well. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install; Opensky CRJ-900 model and air files included. Uses Project Opensky CRJ panel and default Lear45 sounds. (This is a reupload of a work from October 2009 that was lost as a result of the AVSIM site compromise.)
