| "Craig Field" North American AT-6 Texan (N85696) |

File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D 42-85696, registered N85696, owned by Paul Ehlen, based just outside Minneapolis at Flying Cloud airport in Eden Prairie, MN, and can be seen on public display at the Wings of the North Museum. This aircraft originally served as an instrument trainer at Craig Field, Alabama in 1945 and 1946. Between 2002 and 2006 the aircraft was fully restored by John Meyer and Gary Allen, of Lake Stevens, WA, and it is the most accurate/authentically-complete AT-6D flying today. The restored aircraft has a propeller spinner fitted, as some of the Craig Field AT-6D's did have spinners installed, based on period photos.

In memoraium, included is N334AA, lost 9/11/2001 on impact into the North WTC Tower with 92 souls on board. This package includes FS9 32-bit and FSX/P3D 2048 DDS DXT5 textures. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-20-NA 44-72199, as flown by Captain Charles E."Chuck"Weaver of Detroit, MI, who flew with the 362nd Fs/ 357th FG from Leiston, UK. This was one of the few aircraft with the 357th to carry a picture of a nude woman. After the war, this aircraft was sold to Switzerland where it flew as J-2019. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.
