File Description:
The Iguassu Falls, Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, Foz do Iguassu City and Land Class Package for FSX Save The Planet is my version of the Iguassu Falls, Itaipu Dam, bridges and landclass scenery for FSX. Differently from my other version for MSFS 2004, I created a mesh of 5 meter resolution for Iguassu Falls area to give me some idea how I could proceed. So, I decided to use on this addon an image background avaliable at server (VirtualEarthSatellite). Thanks Microsoft. Non-Airport Scenery - ICAO (SBFI). coming soon at www.Terra-Brasilis.org Portuguese: Cataratas do Iguassu, Spanish: Cataratas del Iguazu are waterfalls of the Iguassu River located on the border of the Brazilian state of Parana (in the Southern Region) and the Argentinian Province of Misiones. The Falls are shared between the Iguazu National Park (Argentina) and Iguacu National Park (Brazil). The parks were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant is located in the Parana River, in the stretch of the frontier between Brazil and Paraguay, 14 km north of the Friendship Bridge. The area of the project extends from Foz do Iguassu, in Brazil, and Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay, in the south, up to Guaira (Brazil) and the Guaira Falls (Paraguay), in the north. Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Pack Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Dimensionally identical to the first-generation Constellation (L-049), the post-war 749 had more powerful engines, additional fuel tanks, strengthened landing gear, and much improved performance. Equally good for shuttle hops and long-range flights, L-749 Connies entered service with major 1950s carriers such as Eastern, TWA, B.O.A.C., Air France, KLM, Quantas, and many others. Another customer was the Air Force, which placed an order for ten aircraft (designated C-121A) in 1948.

Included in this sim package are seven models and five textures, covering variants with and without "Speedpak" cargo pannier, weather radar, and "jetstack" exhausts. KLM texture by Jaap de Baare (representing "Flevoland", the last 749 in flying condition today). TWA texture N6003C "Star of America" by Hans Herrmann. EAL, Air France, and MATS textures by Manfred Jahn (including "8609", a frequent visitor to airshows all over the world until 2005). Panel textures and additional gauges by Diego S. Barreto, model and VC by Manfred Jahn, panels, gauges, and animations by Hansjoerg Naegele, flight dynamics by Luis Pallas, wingview angles, lights, and exhaust effects by Bill Tyne and Roland Berger, checklist and documentation by Volker Boehme, flight test and handling research by Stefan Werner. GB-0112 - RAF Bassingbourn - Cambridgeshire, England Download

File Description:
RAF Bassingbourn is a former Royal Air Force station located in Cambridgeshire approximately 3 mi (5 km) north of Royston, Hertfordshire and 11 mi (18 km) south west of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. RAF Bassingbourn was constructed by John Laing & Son between 1937 and 1939 in the parishes of Wendy and Bassingbourn immediately to the west of the A14 (now the A1198) road. The site selected was low ground between several tributaries of the River Cam. The area had been long cleared of forest and tended to be swampy and unstable, and because the boggy ground produced a persistent mist over the large meadow the site was considered ideal for airfield camouflage. During the Second World War it served first as an RAF station and then as a bomber airfield of the Eighth Air Force, of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). It remains the home of the Tower Museum Bassingbourn. From 19 August 1942 to 25 June 1945, Bassingbourn served as headquarters for the 1st Combat Bombardment Wing of the 1st Bomb Division. It was assigned USAAF designation Station 121. The RAF resumed occupation of Bassingbourn on 26 June 1945, the airfield was officially returned on 10 July 1945. The station became one of the main airfields for long-range transport aircraft. In 1948 and 1949 Avro York, Avro Lancaster and Douglas Dakota aircraft from the base took part in the Berlin Airlift, a massive operation transporting essential commodities to the beleaguered city. In February 1952, RAF Bassingbourn received its first allocation of English Electric Canberra bombers and became the first jet bomber operational conversion unit (OCU) in the world. Canberras operated from Bassingbourn for 17 years and one of the aircraft is on static display in the Barracks. From 1963 to 1969 the Joint School of Photographic Interpretation was also located there. On 29 August 1969, the last RAF Commanding Officer, Sqn Ldr A.M. McGregor MBE, turned over the station to the British Army as Bassingbourn Barracks. The barracks were established, on the site of the former RAF Bassingbourn airfield, in January 1970, as the new Depot for the Queen's Division. The depot was responsible for training recruits undergoing their 19-week basic training before joining a regular battalion; in 1993 the Barracks were re-designated the home of the "Army Training Regiment, Bassingbourn" and remained as such for nearly 20 years. Bassingbourn Barracks closed as an army training location in August 2012. The site was reopened for training Libyan soldiers in 2014 but closed down the same year. Since approximately 1970 the site has retained its RAF links by being the home of 2484 (Bassingbourn) Squadron Air Training Corps.

hythevillage_pier.zip Download

File Description:
Hythe Village and Pier

Hythe Village [Town] nestles between the edge of Southampton Water and the New Forest, some 500 yards west of the ‘American Base – RAF Hythe’; the surrounding area is known as ‘The Waterside’. Hythe, with its waterfront, boasts incredible views across Southampton Water, while the village [town] centre, with its Georgian High Street, offers a range of shops, services, traffic-free precincts and parking facilities. Nearby is ‘Hythe Marina’, to be found on Southampton Water's southern shore; it’s a unique development of a 206 berth marina, together with waterside homes, shops, restaurants, bars and a boutique hotel. There is also a passenger ferry which sails back-and-forth from Hythe Pier to the City of Southampton every 30 minutes. Before Hythe Pier was built, ferry and other boats arriving at Hythe had to use a gravel hard ramp which ran from the land out to the low tide point in Southampton Water. Walking along the hard gravel was not easy and travellers often got very wet. Various ideas to improve the situation were suggested at the time and construction of Hythe Pier was eventually started in October 1879 and officially opened on the 1st January 1881.  Many World War II heroes departed from this pier on D-Day in June 1944.The pier itself stretches some 640 meters into Southampton Water and is one of the ten longest piers in the British Isles. In 1922, a narrow gauge electric railway opened in order to take passengers the full length of the Pier. This railway, with its original engine and rolling stock, is the oldest operating electric pier train in the world and is still operational to this day – playing an important part in the local transportation system between Hythe and Southampton.

Deepawali, also known as Diwali is one of the Major Festival celebrated in India from Jammu Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all festivals. YEEB Eneabba, Western Australia strip and townsite Download

File Description:
YEEB Eneabba strip and townsite Sand mining town in heart of wildflower area Located 278 km north from Perth via the Brand Highway, Eneabba is basically a sand mining town surrounded by some of the most extensive and spectacular wild flower displays anywhere in Western Australia. The town itself is, to be fair, a real non-event with dreary modern housing (with more than a hint of construction town design), a small shopping centre and a service station all of which look as though they have sprung up in the last 20-30 years. The wealth of the area is based on the rutile sands which lie to the south of the town as well as farming, particularly cattle grazing. With an estimated 80 per cent of the world's known rutile supplies the town can boast that it has the biggest deposits of rutile in both Australia and the world. The major mining company in the area is Iluka Resources Ltd. Eneabba is basically a service town for the mines but some of the miners, realising that Eneabba is hardly a paradise, have opted for commuting and live on the coast at Leeman and drive to work preferring the beach to the dry inland.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines Fleet Pack 4 Download

File Description:
Aeroflot began in March 1923 as Dobrolet with a mixed fleet of De Havilland, Vickers, Junkers and other aircraft. Dobrolet merged into Dobroflot in 1929 and flew all services within Russia. By 1932 the airline was called Aeroflot. After the second world war international sevices began. At one stage Aeroflot had a massive fleet of over 7,500 aircraft although this fleet was pretty much ALL the civilian aircraft in the former Soviet Union. Aeroflot began the world's first sustained jet airline service using Tupolev Tu-104 'Camel' jets (developed from the Tu-16 'Badger' bomber) on an extensive internal route network from the summer of 1955. The Tu-104 saw service until the mid-1970s. After the breakup of the Soviet Union Aeroflot broke up into lots of smaller carriers and became known as Aerflot - Russian International Airlines. Aeroflot began using leased Boeing 767s and 737-400s alongside the older soviet types and with a revised livery. The Russian flag replaced the Red Flag. Airline history supplied by http://airlines.afriqonline.com. The third release contains the Aeroflot ANTK Tupolev TU-134A-3 aircraft (see the readme file for details of this model). Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft model is by PAI and can be obtained at the associated sites. These packages support MRAI fightplans for WI04.

MedJet Beechcraft 400A - two versions Download

File Description:
MedJet (not sure if they fly the Beech 400 - in fact not usre that they actually have any aircraft... Websearch kept directing me to a world wide medical insurance plan... so they may use member ambulance services... but did see a couple of photos with Medjet on he side of Lears) Two aircraft- one is an air ambulance the other for medical charter. In case you are like me and use panels with cockpit views, have included two "rear" views of a Beech interior... a rather "business like interior... non-posh ... found a picture of an aircraft interior that was an air ambulance - not a beech - "lifted the Air Stretcher out of the photo and trimed and pasted it to the beech interior to distinguish the two.. so if you choose you can do same for your panel.. I use the same panel for both with the different "rear" view ... just copy the panel and rename it .... in my case... I have panel and panel.1 - with one for charter the other for air ambulance... just make the change in the conifg file... texture= (for the panel) and texture=1 for the the second panel... takes up a bit more space on your HD... but not all that much.. depending on your panel size. If you have any questions or comments.. please do drop me a line [email protected]
