INSTRUCTIONS AND MORE INFO INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE. INCLUDES 3 OVERLAYS. Hi, I've created these AFCAD files for the Simflyers LAX scenery, as I could not find anything that was truly a; realistic, and b; functioned properly with the MS Fltsim 2002 AI. I've spent many hours testing and tweaking these AFCAD files, so I hope they are perfect enough to be widely used. However, I do stress that some previous experience of using AFCAD and changing aircraft radius sizes will be necessary. Please report any faults which may be discovered! Design tips for the future are always very useful!
WHATS NEW FOR 2.1:
I have changed the direction of takeoff / landing for all of the runways, as the AI appears to behave a lot better this way (less likeliness of aircraft getting stuck!). This has allowed me to move all of the runways used by the KLAX overlay to the north side of the airport, reducing the chances of aircraft landing on top of one another. KLAX also now has some extra Ramp GA Large bays to accomodate for all of the American Eagle Saab 340's! Finally, I have cleaned up the AFCAD removing unecessary nodes etc.

XFCS simulates fly-by-wire control of combat aircraft. See readme.pdf for indepth description.
News in version 1.5
- XFCS now works with X-Plane's autopilot. All autopilot commands are exectuted by the FCS control laws, resulting in excellent autopilot accuracy and seemless integration.
- Improved pitch response in AoA-demand mode.
- AoA-demand mode blends AoA and speed data, making it easier to control speed and glideslope with power adjustments.
- AoA-feedback in G-demand mode: Flying above 15 degrees angle of attack requires light stick backpressure. Many real control systems work this way.
- Inverted flight now requires slight forward stick pressure. A lot of pilots feel more at home with this behaviour and many real FCS�s have it.
- �Mach bucket� is now simulated. This is a common way to handle transsonic pitch buffeting. Max load factor is decreased by 2 G�s in the Mach .95 - 1.1 range.
- XFCS should now run faster on low end computers, having less effect on frame rate.
- Transition from ground mode to flight mode now follows pitch attitude instead of airspeed. This works better for most designs.

AIRWOLF, for FS2004, Freeware with panel and external model; AFS-design brings a excellent rendition of the famous supersonic helicopter AIRWOLF from the same 80 years cult series AIRWOLF, and 2 models of possible opponents ( Concept Aircrafts ) of AIRWOLF, out for the Flight Simulator FSX and FS2004. The original series AIRWOLF is an American television series that ran from 1984 to 1987. It was about the sophisticated spy high-tech military helicopter, code named AIRWOLF, and took their team, which various missions. It was a lot of espionage and the theme of the Cold War. The series was produced by Donald P. Bellisario. There were 79 episodes, each with 45 minutes in length, in 4 Stafeln. In the first three seasons Jan-Michael Vincent played as Stringfellow Hawke for the pilot of AIRWOLF, Ernest Borgnine as Mr. Dominic Santini, owner of Santini Air Services and Systems Officer of the AIRWOLF, Alex Cord as Michael Coldsmith Briggs III ( CIA Code Name: Archangel ) CIA agent and in the second and third season, Jean Bruce Scott as Caitlin O'Shannessy, co-pilot of AIRWOLF with. UPDATE: After reports of people not getting the complete file, I have re-uploaded it. The problem was my program that I was using to zip the file. I have since changed programs and fixed the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The LAX Vterminal was originally released to a select few virtual airlines and can now be yours. These were West Express, Atlantic Sun, Empora Virtual, City Bird, Arizona Pacific, and Family Virtual Airlines. The terminal contains three concourses, forty-three (43) gates, and eight overflow parking spots. Parking assignments have not been assigned to any of the gates, so you will need to go through and do so. The terminal was created by Michael Wood and Nick O'Dell. It was designed to fit the needs of virtual airlines, in order to return parking spots in the main terminal to their real world owners. This scenery is frame rate friendly, and will not take up a lot of space on your hard drive. Included in this file are AFCAD's for the default and OceanFlight scenery. Enjoy our scenery, and look for more scenery projects coming in the near future.

File Description:
Here is an improved version of the stock Plateau Sky Ranch. This is a privately owned field, open to the public. It consists of two grass runways and is located just north of the Great Sacandaga Lake.
In FSX, there were no buildings at all, so I added the hangar, and the hangars and planes that are located across a public road. I moved both runways because, with UTX, the road crossed both runways. Now the runways clearthe road. In FSX there were taxiways with hold-short lines, taxiway signs, etc, which didn't belong so they
were removed. I added a dirt driveway, parking area, fuel station, light pole, flag, and a couple of local houses and barn.
There is a lot of nice scenery in any direction from Plateau Sky Ranch. If you take off from runway 6 and follow the waterway you will come to the earthen Conklingville dam and the upper Hudson River.
I've added an extra file for UTX users called Boats.bgl. It will add several marinas and boats in correct locations on the Great Sacandaga Lake.

This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the tropical Bahamas!

PAY ATTENTION:
Use caution when using the throttles! As in the real aircraft, be advancing the throttles too full, torque limits can be exceeded by a lot!
PLEASE: Any questions or problems post them to the forum for this aircraft. I'm visiting it daily so I can respond as quick as possible.

This package represents the Skyhawks operated by Malaysia, which served through the 1980s-1990s, until replaced by F-18s, MiG-29s, and Su-30s. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been heavily modified by me from the FSDS source; and this package. I have added a lot of new things to create two virtually new base models, please refer to the enclosed readme file for a list of adds and changes. All models retain Nick's original XML animations, plus some new ones I created. The aircraft also uses the unaltered (save for one light position change), original FDE by Mike MacIntyre. This package has two main aircraft models, the A-4PTM (Peculiar to Malaysia) and TA-4PTM; and includes 40 serials with many loadout options. The included readme file includes instructions, notes, disclaimers, credits, and anything else I can think of. Original aircraft and source by Nick Black, FDE by Mike MacIntyre, expert mentoring by Frank Safranek and Steve Holland, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.
