Seattle Tacoma Inter. Airport (New Control Tower)

File Description:
KSEA, Seattle Tacoma International Airport has been undergoing a transformation over the past three years which includes updating many of the terminals,a new hanger facility for Northwest Airlines, resturants, shops, and a Third runway. This includes as well a new Control Tower to replace the current tower which has been in use for over forty years. These trasformation will bring Sea-Tac into the 21st centry. I decided as a challenge as well as a starter scenery design project to create the new control tower as an update for the KSEA scenery. This tower is scheduled to start 1/4 operations before Christmas 2002 and fulltime operations by May 2003. It is my hope to redesign the entire KSEA Cargo Ramp in the comming future.

Alamagorda, New Mexico 'Try the Ridge Soaring'

File Description:
Alamagorda,New Mexico is ideally suited for ridge soaring when the moderate breeze is coming from the west. With the mountains just to the east of town you can spend an enjoyable afternoon soaring along the ridge line and getting a great view of the white sands to the west. There is some thermal activity out over the desert floor but you must be careful since Holloman AFB is out there and also the White Sands Missile Range. All ridge and thermal lift was installed manually using the Thermiek thermal program.
