Tips and Tricks - Number 7. This issue contains some VERY important information for anyone who "collects" scenery as well as an explanation of an error message we see from time to time. For anyone wanting to learn more about the use of "mesh", an excellent resource link is listed. An assortment of other tips, tricks and recommendations are included as usual - a little something for everyone. Some of these items have come from readers of this series and I thank them all. You will also find links to several unique sites that I believe you will find of value. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. --

This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-20 44-14221 “Ridge Runner IIIâ€, flown by Maj Pierce McKennon's aircraft with the 4th FG. This is the 3rd version, which he flew between 19 March and 16 april 1945. On that day he was wounded by flak. The next day, the aircraft made an emergency landing, while being flown by another pilot and was damaged. McKennon received a 4th Ridge Runner after his return from hospital, while this aircraft was repaired and continued flying with the 4th FG as WD-I. More on Maj. File Description:
JEX was created by JAL as a new low-cost product based at Osaka-Itami(ITM\RJOO). While the JEX of today flies 42 737s on behalf of JAL, JEX of 1998 had just started operations with only 2 737-400s flying. You may find JEX mostly at Osaka-Itami(ITM) between flights to Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Texture for the FAIB 737-400 by Ranmori Scythe is included. | BAe Harrier GR3 XV778 Falkland Islands Detatchment |

This is my rendition of XV778 with tailcode "H" flown by the Falkland Islands Detatchment circa 1983 .Modifications include panellines , rivets , squadron badge on flying suit , changed colour of helmet , changed number on GPU and added new bump & spec maps ( where needed ) .
There are however certain limitations with the texture mapping , for example the rear section of the main fuselage is only shown once in the paintkit,so the camouflage pattern is mirrored .One of the flaps is also mirrored above and below the wing,so all camouflage using Light Aircraft Grey undersides aren't shown correctly..The fuel tank has the same problem as certain sections are also mirrored.The camera was only mounted on the port side of the nose,not port and starboard.

This is my rendition of ZD670 with tailcode "3A" flown by 1417 Flight Belize (British Honduras) circa 1987. Modifications include panel lines, rivets, squadron badge on flying suit, changed colour of helmet, changed number on GPU and added new bump & spec maps (where needed).
