This is a repaint of RAZBAM's excellent A-4E. These textures represent an A-4E of VA-163, Saints, on the USS Oriskany in 1965. In the real world this aircraft BUNO 151083 was shot down on 11/17/1965 by AAA on a mission over North Vietnam. The Pilot, LCDR Roy Howard Bowling, Operations Officer, was killed in action on the mission. VA-163 was disestablished on 7/1/1971. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! My second mission release - See if you are worth calling yourself a rotorhead and fly in the Middle East. This package includes one mission, two repaints (default OH-58 Saifan and DodoSim OH-58 Saifan) and multiple versions for different helicopter types (choose between default Bell 206, Alphasim S-70 Yanshuf and DodoSim Bell 206). Choose between Hebrew/English with English/German subtitles. More than 150 sound files, depending on aircraft model. Different rewards for different models and pilot attitude. Acceleration is required. Enjoy!

Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Milk Wagon" from the 708th Bomb Squadron, 447th Bomb Group. Milk Wagon was the top mission-flying plane in the 3rd Air Division with 129 missions flown.
Mr. August Altese, navigator on the James Young crew, tells of the origins of the aircraft's name:
"Our first mission was June 21st 1944 to Berlin. When we returned to base we were asked what we thought of our first mission out of England as compared to the missions that we had flown out of Italy with the 15th AF. We replied it was a milk run, and named our ship the Milk Wagon and indicated each mission flown with a milk bottle."

The default Flight Simulator database of VOR/NDB's is fast becoming out of date, Making
VOR navigation using current IFR en-route charts impractical to impossible. When flying along
charted airways, this discrepancy can cause you to become far off course. This update solves
that problem by re calibrating all navigation aids in Alaska based on information submitted to
the FAA January 13, 2011. This allows you to accurately navigate using any navaid in Alaska
while using current IFR en-route charts. This update includes magnetic variation data, and
navaid position. All data was compiled from the ground up. http://akfsnavaid.zzl.org

Founded in 1942 as an American airbase, Iqaluit is now the capital city of the northern Canadian province of Nunavut. It is the smallest Canadian capital in terms of population and the only capital that is not connected to other settlements by a highway. The airport is of critical importance to the community, especially when ice makes boat travel impossible. At 62 degrees latitude (approx. the same as Yellowknife), Iqualuit offers some of the most severe weather you are likely to encounter at any airport, and has been used for cold weather testing of new airliners.

Then head for the coast to catch a shuttle launch and tour the Kennedy Space Center. Head north along the coast stopping in Ormand Beach for a classic car show and catch Bike Week or the Daytona 500 in where else? Daytona Beach! You can't park your plane there, but you can park your rental car on the beach while you go for a swim.

A sample AI flight plan for the Dash 8 (VH-LCL) operating on survey work for LADS
Hydrography (Laser Airbourne Depth Sounding), which is based at Edinburgh,
Australia and operates on behalf of the Australian Navy. It is impossible to
create a completely realistic flight plan as the aircraft carries out survey
work in many parts of the world far out of the reach of the limitations of
Flight Simulator's weekly repeat limit. Nevertheless this sample plan takes
the aircraft well out of Australia and it may be seen at many different airports
in the course of a week.
