File Description: This is a LOD 5 (1216.05m per pixel) to LOD 11 (19m per pixel) terrain mesh scenery file. This terrain mesh is a work in progress, it was started more than two years ago and was never finished. While the files uploaded here have been checked thoroughly there may be errors. If you find any obvious errors please do let me know by email, my intention is to eventually finish this project as the difference in the before and after is astounding especially in areas where I have also included new coastlines. This mesh does cover some border areas of the United States of America too and eventually my intentions are to provide the same product coverage there including higher LOD levels where data is available. This is 1 of 40 files currently available.

New Drag-Chute Meshes For Space Shuttle Fleet 3.1

File Description:
This is an mesh upgrade for the drag-chute mesh used in Space Shuttle fleet 3.1. This upgrade contains meshes for both the deployed and fully inflated drag-chute aswell as an mesh for the jettisoned drag-chute. Some facts about the drag-chute: The orbiter drag chute was designed to assist in the deceleration system in safely stopping the orbiter on the runway after an mission or an abort. The drag-chute was first used on the orbiter Endeavour(OV-105) on STS-49. Subsequently the all of the other orbiter(Columbia, Discovery and Atlantis) was modified to be equipped with an drag-chute. The drag-chute is housed in an special compartment on the bottom of the vertical tail. REQUIRES SPACE SHUTTLE FLEET 3.1 ALREADY INSTALLED!

Lukla Airport (Nepal) and flight plan around the Everest

File Description:
Package contains two folders: first folder is the flight plan from Khatmandu over Everest and landing to Lukla and second folder is the reconstruction Lukla airport. I rebuilt the airport in Lukla correctly positioning the parking, the control tower, runway, terminal and building around the airport. The default FSX mesh are not real and it is difficult to land and take off and I recommend the mesh by Taburet downloaded from http://walhalla.mine.nu/fsx/world.html.
