Mandarin Airlines 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Mandarin Airlines was a fully-owned affiliate of China Airlines based in RCTP. Today, Mandarin does mostly regional flying, but 1998 represented the final years of widebody operations for the carrier. The 747SPs were retired soon after, and the MD-11s and 747-400 gradually returned to China Airlines. Mandarin operated most of the US, Australian, European, and Middle Eastern flights for China Airlines at the time. Mandarin aircraft frequently swapped back and forth onto China Airlines routes and vice versa. As Mandarin had a small fleet, I elected to have Mandarin planes on Mandarin routes, but my China Airlines plans will also utilize Mandarin colors MD-11s on China Airlines routes, so the repaints in this file are required for China Airlines 1998. Swap out the aircraft as you see fit. Repaints by the talented Ranmori Scythe included for the FAIB 747-400, 747SP, and FSPX MD-11 included with flightplans by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. TWA Boeing MD-80 Spirit of Long Beach Maddog 2006

File Description:
This texture represents the final MD80 to come off the twinjet production line and delivered to Trans World Airlines, Inc. at the Boeing plant in Long Beach,Calif. (Dec. 21, 1999)in the presence of more than 1000 employees, government officials and other guests. The airplane marks the 26th MD-80 delivered to TWA this year. In February, TWA will begin taking deliveries of the new 100-passenger Boeing 717 as the airline continues to rejuvenate its fleet. TWA has placed firm orders for 50 717s and has options for 50 more. The final MD-80, an MD-83 model featuring non-stop range of approximately 2,880 statute miles, brings to 102 the number of MD-80 twinjets operated by TWA. During the ceremonies, Long Beach Mayor Beverly O'Neill christened the last MD-80 "Spirit of Long Beach" in honor of all the men and women who have built MD-80s for two decades at the Long Beach facility.

McDonnell Douglas MD-80 Update for realCRT gauges

File Description:
FS2004 MD-80 Panel for realCRT Gauges. Latest update to my previous complete panel rework of Bill Alexander's original fs9 update of this long-lived panel. This update was made expressly for registered users of Tony D'Ambrosio's TOP AVIONICS realCRT gauges and the ND navigation database. Tested on my SGA MD-8x sim, but may function equally well with different DC-9/MD-8x/9x aircraft simulations. Enjoy it!
