This repaint for the Virtavia "A-4 Skyhawk for FSX" package represents an A-4E Skyhawk of Training Squadron SEVEN (VT-7) "Eagles" at NAS Meridian, Mississippi in 1989. VT-7 had the distinction of being the only squadron to use single-seat A-4E Skyhawks for training flights. Repaint by Frank Safranek.

File Description:
TDS Boeing 737-7AF(C-40A) (N1003M). US Navy fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Nine / FLELOGSUPPRON FIVE NINE (VR-59), nicknamed The Lone Star Express, is a transport squadron of the Fleet Logistics Support Wing of the United States Navy. It is a reserve unit composed of both active duty and Selected Reserve sailors. The squadron maintains three modified Boeing Next-Generation 737-700C aircraft, designated as the C-40A Clipper. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

File Description:
After WWII, in January 1950, n° 3 Squadron was resurrected at Florennes airbase as part of the 2nd Wing. The unit received the squadron code "YL" and kept its pre-war ensign of the "Holly Leaf" which was painted on its Spitfire 14's.
The Squadron received the SG 35 (YL-F) on june 13th '50, just to fly one year before to be destroyed due to engine failure. The pilot bailed out but his parachute got stuck to the tail.
This repaint is for RealAir Spitfire 2007 (FSX).
