This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire XVI TB991 GE-L 'Liège' o fNo.349 squadron of the Belgian Air Force, 1946-1947. This aircraft was on of the 27 Spitfire LF.XVI's that were loaned by the Belgian Air Force immediately after the war until the Griffon powered LF.XIV's could be delivered that were ordered by the Belgian Government. The LF.XVI's were given Belgian roundels, although they were never owned by the Belgian Air Force. Most of these aircraft were returned to the RAF after a while, but TB991 had an accident at Beauvechain on Feb. 3rd 1947, was deemed uneconomical to repair and was not returned to the RAF, but scrapped. Indian Air Force MiG-29A Fulcrum C, 28th Squadron "First Supersonics", in a special yellow-tail livery; utilizing Eduardo Fadul's excellent MiG-29 model, available on Simviation.com (MIG29fulc.zip). This aircraft has a wealth of animation and detail, down to an ejection sequence. This aircraft is a full-feature model, but is very AI-friendly for faster computers. Aircraft and base textures by Eduardo Fadul.

This repaint depicts the Arizona ANG 152nd Fighter Squadron Commanders "Los Vaqueros" F-16C 88-0417. I saw this jet on static display at the Davis-Monthan airshow here in Tucson last month and knew right away that I HAD to paint it for the Aerosoft F-16! Also, while painting that jet I discovered on F16.net that the AZ ANG texture that came with the Aerosoft package, "texture.AZ_162 FW" tail number 84-318, depicts an F-16 from the 195th FS that's since been retired and is now sitting out in the "boneyard". So I decided to paint an "active" jet from the 195th to replace that one and included it in this package as a "bonus"!

In order to fly this aircraft, you have to download the “F-16C/D Block 30 346th Mira Jason Hellenic Air Force”, witch you can download from this site. Through this update you will have the possibility of flying the Greek Fighting falcons block 30 F-16C and F-16D from the two squadrons witch this type is used. The base package contains sound, virtual cockpit VC, opening canopy, full moving parts, photoreal parts.
